    Is it bear proof?

If it's in Alaska, they probably are. Bears have tried to claw and bite their way into our comm shelters in rural areas and they have done some damage.

Great question! No they are not bear proof. However, the damage can be mitigated by building an outer structure that the bear has to get through (or over) first before gnawing on the box.
