As a fan of BTS, Stray Kids, and many other groups…. This is one of the reasons that makes Bang Chan so special. He is talented, kind, inspirational and humble. Giving his respect to BTS like this really shows how amazing of a person he is.

I concider myself a tinystayarmy, Bts, Stray Kids and Ateez being the top of my bias groups and I found a really helpful way to help shield myself with the toxic part of the fandom's....not getting involved. Let toxicity feed toxicity, you just sit back eat your pop corn, watch vlives, veriety shows, music videos, share the positive things. I think Bang Chan really resonates with BTS, like, a lot. He speaks and believes the same message as BTS. Not to mention, he's been a trainee for so long and is now the leader of such a successful group. As someone in the same industry with THAT level of experience, he must have some sort of admiration just seeing his seniors thrive. Also, he's just a precious and genuine human being in general. Mistakes were made, but he continues to learn from them. I agree, BTS did pave the way. This does not mean other idols' success is because of BTS' existence but rather, BTS introduced K-pop to a larger and more diverse audience. K-pop continues to grow because there are much more diverse consumers who influence K-pop groups and their songs one way or another (e.g. because western people watch and consume K-pop, they now make songs in English which leads to more people getting to know them). A lot of people got to know K-pop because of BTS, award shows in other countries are now open to K-pop and other music industries are getting ideas from K-pop. But in the end, people will only be a fan of you if you attract them. BTS introduces K-pop, people get to know BTS, they explore K-pop, they join other fandoms. idk I just wanted to say that

I'm a wholehearted army 💜 and it's because of BTS that I got more interested in Kpop in general. After a while I started to explore different groups and discovered a few more that I really enjoy. Stray kids are now one of my top 4 groups. I'm really glad that BTS are so successful in my country, that I got to know them and with them all the variety of a (for me) whole knew music genre. So yeah I believe there are a lot of us out there, who got into K pop the same way. I totally agree, BTS did pave the way for so many groups...

I've been an ARMY since 2015 and I will happily say they're my ult for life. I've liked songs from other groups but I've always been hesitant to get into them because of the vocal minority of nasty people in the other groups' fandoms who have nothing nice to say about BTS and ARMY. I'm glad idols for the most part don't support that kind of negativity and generally have nothing but respect and kind words to speak of one another. Maybe I can try getting into Stray Kids. You name groups like Girls Generation, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, BTS, ect. They’re all LEGENDS for a reason. They’ve all made huge impacts to the Kpop history. They all contributed to paving the way. BTS though, I have to admit they’re on another level. When you compete with the top western artists and not just the top Korean artists, then you’re on another level. They've made history not just in the Kpop industry, but the music industry as a whole. It's a HUGE historic mark in the music industry as a whole. That said, I don’t know why people get angry when it’s mentioned that BTS paved the way. Because if we’re being truthfully honest, they did. Like how previous groups (like the ones I mentioned above) before BTS did. BTS just expanded that road much more. You can’t argue with facts and reality. Deny it. But the facts will still be there whether you like it or not. So although I’m not an Army, I have to agree with that statement. And I’m sure other groups after BTS (like Stray Kids) will be making their own history and Kpop impacts.

This is an obvious fact, because they are the ones who popularized K-pop in the world, which made it easier for other Korean groups to stay in the West, not to mention how famous they have become when even people far from Korean music know about BTS. South Korea is proud of them, which are a real national treasure and pride of the country.

As a fan of BTS, Stray Kids, and many other groups…. This is one of the reasons that makes Bang Chan so special. He is talented, kind, inspirational and humble. Giving his respect to BTS like this really shows how amazing of a person he is.
BTS paved the way for new groups and there is absolutely nothing wrong with acknowledging that, I’m honestly really glad that they did pave the way for all of these amazing artists.

It's really sad to see all the negativity with these fandoms. I love both BTS & Stay Kidz. What's interesting is that these 2 groups have mutual respect for each other. What's sad is that some fans (which are the minority) who consistently try to create drama & fan wars. If these artists can respect each other, what right do these fans have to create negativity & hate. I honestly wish people who created so much hate, do some massive self reflection because that type of life & personality will not bring any happiness. Both BTS & Stray Kidz are amazing groups who are talented performers... I appreciate them for that, whether you like only 1 group or both. It's hilariously sad that these individuals who do create fan wars & hate are trying to say "I'm supporting my group". Your group does not stand for those values. BTS brought me to Kpop, I stayed for them but along the way I picked myself the title multi-stan. I concider myself a tinystayarmy, Bts, Stray Kids and Ateez being the top of my bias groups and I found a really helpful way to help shield myself with the toxic part of the fandom's....not getting involved. Let toxicity feed toxicity, you just sit back eat your pop corn, watch vlives, veriety shows, music videos, share the positive things. Our boys pay no mind to the toxic so you will even seem and they will be ignored. Plus I'm way to old to deal with the immature minds that live in toxic land. 💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think Bang Chan really resonates with BTS, like, a lot. He speaks and believes the same message as BTS. Not to mention, he's been a trainee for so long and is now the leader of such a successful group. As someone in the same industry with THAT level of experience, he must have some sort of admiration just seeing his seniors thrive. Also, he's just a precious and genuine human being in general. Mistakes were made, but he continues to learn from them.
I agree, BTS did pave the way. This does not mean other idols' success is because of BTS' existence but rather, BTS introduced K-pop to a larger and more diverse audience. K-pop continues to grow because there are much more diverse consumers who influence K-pop groups and their songs one way or another (e.g. because western people watch and consume K-pop, they now make songs in English which leads to more people getting to know them). A lot of people got to know K-pop because of BTS, award shows in other countries are now open to K-pop and other music industries are getting ideas from K-pop. But in the end, people will only be a fan of you if you attract them. BTS introduces K-pop, people get to know BTS, they explore K-pop, they join other fandoms.

I'm a wholehearted army 💜 and it's because of BTS that I got more interested in Kpop in general. After a while I started to explore different groups and discovered a few more that I really enjoy. Stray kids are now one of my top 4 groups. I'm really glad that BTS are so successful in my country, that I got to know them and with them all the variety of a (for me) whole knew music genre. So yeah I believe there are a lot of us out there, who got into K pop the same way. I totally agree, BTS did pave the way for so many groups...

I've been an ARMY since 2015 and I will happily say they're my ult for life. I've liked songs from other groups but I've always been hesitant to get into them because of the vocal minority of nasty people in the other groups' fandoms who have nothing nice to say about BTS and ARMY. I'm glad idols for the most part don't support that kind of negativity and generally have nothing but respect and kind words to speak of one another. Maybe I can try getting into Stray Kids. You name groups like Girls Generation, 2NE1, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, Super Junior, SHINee, EXO, BTS, ect. They’re all LEGENDS for a reason. They’ve all made huge impacts to the Kpop history. They all contributed to paving the way. BTS though, I have to admit they’re on another level. When you compete with the top western artists and not just the top Korean artists, then you’re on another level. They've made history not just in the Kpop industry, but the music industry as a whole. It's a HUGE historic mark in the music industry as a whole. That said, I don’t know why people get angry when it’s mentioned that BTS paved the way. Because if we’re being truthfully honest, they did. Like how previous groups (like the ones I mentioned above) before BTS did. BTS just expanded that road much more. You can’t argue with facts and reality. Deny it. But the facts will still be there whether you like it or not. So although I’m not an Army, I have to agree with that statement. And I’m sure other groups after BTS (like Stray Kids) will be making their own history and Kpop impacts.

Even if idols don't openly say that BTS paved the way, they understand and are aware of it. This is an obvious fact, because they are the ones who popularized K-pop in the world, which made it easier for other Korean groups to stay in the West, not to mention how famous they have become when even people far from Korean music know about BTS. South Korea is proud of them, which are a real national treasure and pride of the country.
