Good to see you again! Thank you for your uplifting message! We press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:14)
I want to suggest that the rapture cannot happen before the Ekklesia has taken the gospel to the nations, as taught by the Lord in Matthew 24:14, Mark 13:10, Luke 21:24. This would be in fulfilment of the Great Commission-Matthew 28:18-20, in the building of Christ’s Ekklesia, comprising born again Jews and born again Gentiles-Matthew 16:18. I believe the progress of the gospel can be determined by the Bible being translated into the native languages of all the nations. This is how the gospel started on the Day of Pentecost, when the people heard the Word of God in their own languages-Acts 2:8. This has certainly been the case since the Reformation. To date, there remains about 20 percent of Bible translations to complete the work. And with the use of computer technology and AI, the work of Bible translation would surely be speeded up!Marantha.
Revelation 7:9-14 describes an enormous multitude coming out of the tribulation losing their heads in the process. There will also be 144,00 male Jewish evangelists setting the world on fire with the gospel. They can’t be touched by the god of this world while they are on this mission. The pre tribulation rapture of the church itself in no way conflicts with this end time harvest. Our God will take as many as He can before the end comes when our Lord physically returns to punish His enemies, not necessarily all taken before the rapture comes. The main mission of the ”great commission” doesn’t have to conflict with His overall plan nor His entire end time plan in order for Him to remove the church before the SHTF. It is clear that there will be multitudes saved out of the tribulation itself, telling us that there is still much to do after the church gets raptured. Also consider, that if the church is raptured midway through or at the end of the tribulation, there will be no redeemed ones left alive to enter into the 1000 year reign of Christ on the earth.
The pre-tribulation rapture you are stating is the popular view. But is it possible that it could be wrong? When Jesus came the first time the popular view was that he was not the Christ-they were profoundly wrong; with dire consequences! It could also be possible that in Christ’s 2nd Coming, the popular pre-trib view will be shown to have been profoundly wrong; with dire consequences! Consider that only Daniel was given to understand visions and dreams, whilst Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were not given to understand visions and dreams, (Daniel 1:17). This means Daniel was in the minority. The same goes for the children of Issachar, being in the minority, as the one tribe of 13, that understood the times, (1 Chronicles 12:32) So in the mouth of two or three witnesses, we have to ask ourselves, whether we are rightly dividing the Word of Truth, (2 Timothy 2:15).
I’m quite sure I’m not wrong but the whole premise behind this series of messages if you follow them through, isn’t just to PROVE the pre tribulation rapture but live your life with Godly purpose and urgency while you are waiting to meet Him. For many and probably most of us, we will likely meet Him face to face when we shed our body in death and not in the rapture at all. Discussing technicalities is amusing and even fun for many of us, but what the Lord has asked me to do is highlight what is behind Jesus’ and the NT writers urging us to live purposely and presently, and fruit-bearing - while we are waiting to meet Him. Also, statistically, the majority of the western church is amillennial and post tribulational in its views. There are a lot of well know ministers coming out as pre tribulation lately, causing many to think it is the dominant view, but it is not.
