    Excellent explanation, well done. What fuse did you put in it? Is it a cigarette generator or a mattress warmer?

    Thank you for the ingenious workaround for the halos and for taking the time to create and share this video! I bought these same Mopar LED takeoffs for my father-in-law's 2018 JL. He doesn't currently care about the halo, so I'm guessing it should just be a plug-and-play install, but it's nice to know that we can easily wire these up, if needed.
    Question: Did you need to use a Tazer to program your Jeep for the basic headlights (low and high beams) to function correctly with no flicker?

    • @everydayjeeper6583
      @everydayjeeper6583  Год назад

      Thanks for watching! I already had the superchips tuner so I just set the LED headlights to on with the tuner. I never tried the LED’s without the tuner so I’m not sure if they would’ve flickered or not. But I figure they would without the tuner.

      @@everydayjeeper6583 where did you get that tuner? I bought an led mopar and the passenger side flickers and shuts off once in a while.

    So I have a 2021 80th anniversary trim and I looked on my connectors and do have 6 slotted and 4 of them have metal prongs insert just as the 4 prongs on the headlight. Do I just need a tazer to activate the halo?

    Great, informative video. Question - is this the only option for 2020 models with 3 pins on both headlights now that the harness (68347117AB) is discontinued? Does the 1' harness (68414409AB) provide any use/value in this situation or is that more for 2021+ models that have 3 pins on one side and 4 on the other? I'm happy to make the wiring as you've outlined in your video but just want to confirm there are no other options using OEM/MOPAR wiring harnesses/jumpers. Thanks!

    • @everydayjeeper6583
      @everydayjeeper6583  2 месяца назад

      @Mark Manalo Thanks for watching! I had aftermarket LED’s with halos wired up using the fuse tap for a couple of years before I got the Mopar LED’s and didn’t have any issues. Using the heated seat fuse is a common method of tapping into power with a fuse tap. 👍
