- Children dancing in honor of the Dear Leader and the Great Leader at the mass games in the DPRK aka North Korea. It's quite incredible, and yet very very scary.

if you thought this was crazy, the "screen" in the background is another metric ton of students that are holding cards
I just sat and blinked wondering: How do they have time to do this when I barely have time for Netflix
They do them in school and after school without doing anything else
Because they're not allowed to do anything else
@@RATsnak3 We have similar things in Latvia. Diesmu un Deju svētki. It's like after-school programs and dance troupes and choirs all over the country coming together every 5 years to sing and dance.
@@gudzhis I’m sure you aren’t forced to do them to an almost empty stadium.
@@RATsnak3 I mean like thousands of people doing choreographed dance or singing. That's the only comparison. There is a little bit of history about it in Latvia, during soviet times they always tried to ban a lot songs, but people still did them. It was like a little protest.
The struggle is real when you risk getting shot :D
they wouldnt do that, it would ruin the show
if they make a mistake, their family of 3 generations and themselves will risk getting sent to a political prison camp or a re-education camp. it’s torture there..
You know they wouldn't get shot...they would get sent to a camp.
Stupid! And the next three below you.
Hmmm. I saw one or two that were out of synch. I trust they were harshly dealt with.
They were eatin alive by old dirty hobos.
+fluchter1996 We're not in Kansas anymore are we Toto...
why do i always find it scary no matter how lovely they are, anything about north korea never fails to creep me out. :/
***** I was only kidding....Or was I?
fluchter1996 of course
It doesn't matter, its still fking impressive.
One missed step and off to the labor camp.
Try doing it in your so called free country and let’s see how successful it will be?
Do you get a prize for being stupid? You deserve one.
OK, you're a dog, but this would have been a really stupid comment had you been a human!
so...how the fuq did i get here? I was searching for heavy metal...
I guess they earned an extra dog biscuit after this spectacular performance.
Like the US citizens ? No It won't happen in Asia.
Mathavan Balaraman,
No. They are well fed in United States of America. Unfortunately, not so in North Korea.
Mathavan Balaraman
Mathavan Balaraman
My dogs eat better than me here in US ha ha ....
Such passion. Wow. You wouldn’t think that they have anything better to do at all! I sure am glad they’re all well fed enough to pull this off!
Wow, this is North Korea? I would have SWORN it was Tennessee! Why, back when I was a kid, growing up in Knoxville, we did EXACTLY this kind of stuff... pretty much every school assembly was this massive, perfectly synchronized display of gymnastics and dance. Everyone I knew rode a unicycle, and we were always singing songs about the president, painting murals, and engaging in contests to see who could be the least different. Yep, those were the days... I remember us kids in Knoxville parading around by the thousands, all smiling, all waving, all in our little costumes sewn by our mothers at the factory... praising the leaders... and the glory of Tennessee... Seriously, is this really North Korea? This is actually Knoxville, right?
Yeah it’s North Korea by the title and if you can hear the song is Korean
Knoxville sounds creepy af
Did you think by writing a lot it would make you seem intelligent? It didn't!
i don't know how they can make a choregraphy with so much kid doing the same thing at the same time.
My hat goes off to whoever can get this many kids to be this disciplined at the same time. Wow. I cant get my niece and nephews to make a straight line.
That’s North Korea. Obey or eat dirt
They're probably hit behind the scenes.
Well, while there is abuse, its honestly not that difficult to make kids act how you want. I am in an elite music program, and we have a ton of 7 year old kids that are incredibly diciplined and practice hours a day themselves because they just dont know any different way of living.
NUM NUTS !! THAT WHOEVER IS " SATAN " HIMSELF...IS YOUR HAT STILL ON !!
This is so sad to me! I can't imagine the hours of discipline
What the heck.... And there are so many of them....
HOW THE FUCK DO THE PARENTS FIND THERE KIDS?!!!!!!!
They don't; they just grab one and go.
+Just Ben HAHAHAHAHA
Just Ben You made me laugh so hard thank you :D
how children find their patents?
thank you for your video what can we say perfect, and just perfect
And just to think that there are a billion more of them that can do the same exact thing
huh
I agree! This is talent!
This is fascinating and creepy as well.
Very good work. Love it.
they are having fun - see the massive smiles!
The reason why they practice so hard (waking up at 4am where the temperature is under -15 Celsius) is because then they'll receive food and they won't have to starve. Not to mention how much kids are crippled due to the demanding choreography.
This is how my anxiety feels. 😭
I don't think I've ever seen this many kids in one place before D:
How in the world did they get a thousand little kids to do flips and ride on unicycles while being in complete sync.... I feel like there was blood shed in order to perfect this... sad
ПРЕКРАСНО!!! WONDERFUL!!!!
These kids were so cute to watch. It does not matter to me that they are from N. Korea. These children are awesome and deserve the praise that they receive. Don't hate on the children.....they are just pawns, as usual. Regardless, this was a really nice routine.
If you want to see synchronized dance in your country, write to dance studios. The studios are often confused about what they should do with their dance. They have no appointments. This kind of bombastic art would probably draw big crowds. Democracy is communication, nothing more, nothing less.
I like the bit where they're dancing in sync
Nice recommended section.
thank you for your comment, that is the diffrents
Human Pixels in background. Saves a LOT of Electricity.
That is phenomenal
@viva4ever520 Yup, for a kid to perform in these games is like the ultimate honour. I saw one documentary (not sure how true it was), but the family got a TV because their daughter took part in the games twice.
Oh yep, nothing sinister at all. (Except the scene in the "A State of Mind" documentary, where the kids admit they don't have mats to practice on, instead attempting these head-flips in a concrete parking lot, in freezing winter. "When you fall, it hurts, but you just remember the Dear Leader and the Great Leader, and the pain goes away," says one kid. Real nice....)
Awesome...!!!
Little sweethearts.
They are prodigy’s may god bless them
0:38
Oh dear God
they're gonna kill us all
The trick is to take their monthly handful of rice away if they mess up.
Everybody gangsta until someone moves out of step with the others
Shows how orderly kids can be when u take away their human rights and make their worst fears come alive.
Could you imagine looking for your kid in that crowd?
Haha
😂
Nice!!
You will now frolic for five minutes! The Leader has ordered it!
wonderful!!!!
the background flipping board is manually done by millions of children
I saw your comments
They don't waste time in video games. It's awesome how they learn discipline since kindergarten.
In the beginning I was like, wow that's really goo- and then the unicycles came.
They dont know what the fuck is internet and they are still living the analog years..
this shows what human beings are capable of: a lot
It would be interesting to find out how talent of this caliber among children is discovered and cultivated. This is beyond anything you will see children do(or rather, be allowed to do) in western culture.
Wow...very cool to watch but very scary as well. Poor kids.
. more helpless children in north korea.. thats true
You know guys, I see comments that compare the North Korean attitude and US attitude towards performing for example. Ok, you are right that under the pressure the people perform better... but you dont look on the other side - the North Korea people do not have another choice. In the rest of the world the people have choice. Please, do not start liking the North Korea's style. Do you really think that this is the way to go?
It's a performance, sometimes they practice without even a single spectator. This stuff is televised/recorded anyway, it's art present to more than just 1 person.
This is what kids should be doing... exercise instead of sitting in front of the PC and playing silly video games
Really? Are you seriously saying that right now?
Says the fool who is on a pic right now
+Pink Bunny pc
+FUGoogle it doesn't matter fool
+FUGoogle bitch please
It's CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you look very closely at 00:29 that picture is actually made of little babies, and they are synchronized whilst turning over!
Funny how the mural paintings in the background show children playing on the beach and being kids when the actual children have probably never seen anything outside of their lifelong training schools
why can't we have this at home
Amazing what discipline can do....
When will their be another looking forward to know
Amazing
thats how they get them ready to fight in war lol
@forgeable this is their military.
What fun these kids must be having!
ive seen on all this videos saying the same shit.
These children are beaten black and blue for making he slightest error, you call that fun?
Cumbriahandyman Ya you know this because of your vast experience traveling to north korea. You should listen to how stupid you sound. Try not talking anymore.
+Cumbriahandyman I think it was a sarcasm
@EricHaverpowell Oh yes! VERY severely! Maybe even almost as severely as young Canadian hockey players and figure skaters.
Amazing.
@Pikabuu2 they are actually human pixels. it's incredible yet terrifying.
If one person messes up in this, they get shot on site.
At least we have the choice to.
@Pikabuu2 I don't think it is computerized, the image you see there is created by thousands of people holding different colored cards....similar to what you see here in the US at a football game in the cheering section. If you watch the fourteen part videos here you will see them doing it and changing from scene to scene quite quickly...it is truly amazing.
Yeah
@Forgeable it is even more
@momofspawn50 I'd love to see all 14 parts. Where can I find them? I tried to find the rest of the show but couldn't.
Yes, they can. Yes, they did. Why not?
@MrCaptFalcon I think it's a honor if your kids can be part of this game in North Korea, the family might get extra supplies from Government.
super
Hey! Curious how to get in touch - love to talk about licensing this footage.
is like every half time performance at US college football game
did anyone else notice the children in the pictures portrayed in the background had round eyes not slanted? i had to go back and look twice, and sure enough, round eyes. whats that all about? the dear leader must not like slanted eyes. ya think
that discipline
Because reading Creepypasta wasn't enough for a good late-night scare.
Whoa holy crap
Remember my participation in few of these gymnastics. Good old communist days. But ours (mongolia) was far from the perfection like theirs. We admired them :-)
... It's a mirror trick...
They need to really see the outside world
@GhostOfAStranger1 Practice would be gruesome for Americans because we can't do anything near this precise on such a big scale. Don't say they're robots just because you couldn't do it.
Loooooooooooooool!!! Me too!
The screen at the back is not electronic ...it's thousands of people turning individual flip boards .
the BUSBY BERKELEY dreams coming true
I mean.. that's impressive, people. Just admit it. Without the ideological background.
@Maloy7800 I see something different guys, I honestly do. I'm sure there are many people in N. Korea that feel trapped and they hate their government, but they also know they can never say anything negative. But remember that so many N. Koreans survived the Japanese occupation and subsequent Korean Conflict. They suffered, starved, saw family members murdered, were raped, and deprived. But when Kim Il-sung formed their now gov't, they experienced a reprieve from these horrors.
if they dance out of time their whole family dies
true story
Competant military children and nukes... we're screwed.
Oh Land brought my here :)
my eyes!!!!
FIND WALLY!!!
wow thats kinda scary
You never know.......
