Huw Edwards: Former BBC presenter avoids jail over indecent images of children

Former BBC broadcaster Huw Edwards has been given a six-month suspended jail sentence after he admitted possessing child abuse images.
The court heard how the former presenter paid up to £1,500 to a paedophile who sent him 41 illegal images.
His lawyer said Edwards was profoundly sorry and was aware he had "betrayed the priceless trust" of so many people.
