I do have Outrider & I love the figure...I never got the XTB Trailbreaker but I am so happy u made the points u made...it irritates me to no end how some ppl overly complain about companies minor flaws but ALWAYS excuse FT flaws...could u imagine the things we would hear if XTB had that mirror on the arm issue or the head had problems pegging in?? By the way, all u have to do is peg in the bar 1st by pressing on the bar & not the head, then peg in the 2nd & it won't pop out...love the videos!!!
Have mine ordered just hasn’t shipped. Never purchased a different version and I’m glad I played the 5 year waiting game. Hopefully 🙏 Blitzwing will be the same thing, just got to be super patient lol
Trailbreaker was my first Transformer in 1985, so the way that looks is Trailbreaker to me, not the cartoon. Didn't get this figure as there's no toy head and the colour is grey, not black. However, if FT do a toy deco one, I'll but that in an instant.
Got mine a couple of weeks ago. He's a solid figure. The shoulder gun could be moved to the left a little bit so it isn't so close to the head however you can rotate it on the ball joint so that it sits sideways and clears the head better.
Have had mine for a few weeks now and love. I think the knee swivel bugs me a bit like you mentioned, it's out of proportion when bent especially full bend makes the thigh look super long and the lower leg short. It very easily could've been double jointed. BBTS has the original shiny black and silver Aegis for $109, even I'm tempted to get it along side of my toon but do I need it! Dilemmas I tell ya! Nice review.
I still need to wait and see what FansToys and Takara are going to do with Hoist before I replace my XTB 2.0 versions. Some folks like having different molds for certain characters, like Badcube and Takara for Sideswipe and Red Alert, but I personally want the same molds for my matching pairs, like the original toys shared molds. Until Takara and FT get Hoist to market I'm sticking with the XTB's. My next pickup isn't until January. Decided to wait on Takara Jetfire over the FT version. If they'd announced just a few weeks later than they did I'd have FT Phoenix already. 😂

I had the MMC version for awhile but once I saw how outrider had a lot less leg kibble I had to get him. Still like the MMC hoist

What’s crazy is I’ll have 4 masterpiece Trailbreakers, MMC, X-Transbots, FansToys, and Takara.
