The renewal of the 224 keys has come from the hand of this artist and they sound more flamenco than ever. The 52 white and 36 black have no secrets for Dorantes, whose pulsation has the exact tempo at each moment together with an exceptional tension on the pedal. His sound is his own, sometimes placing his hands in the case to mute the strings in the manner of John Cage, and he does it at will to achieve other sounds and even to play a different percussion.
