Update (September 17): The mod has been essentially finished for some time now. Its release is contingent on (A) approval from Albino Moose Games and (B) the release of the SOUP update. Thank you for your patience.
I really hope there’s gonna be some massive mod adding like 20 new specimens to the game in the future, and I’m so hyped for something like that. A-90 is a pretty simple enemy to add, so no wonder that it translated so well. Shame there isn’t a game over sequence (yet).
Thanks! I've taken some time to scale the assets more properly to the size used in DOORS. Unfortunately, there are issues with how Spooky's implements its own UI that make not blocking it a considerable hurdle, so I may leave it as-is in that regard.
If I remember correctly, A-90 makes other entities slower while its attacking in the original, and I think said speed nerf lingers a little after it leaves to give you time to react. It might've already been added here and this video just doesn't show it.
@@willzsocial i know right? the music is also very creepy, considered it's part of one of the kevin macleod's tracks which i can describe as scary. And the temporary "lights off" that Mental causes could create some good moments in an endless mode like environment.
@@onlytruefriend The average appearance rate is increased compared to DOORS, to better fit the gameplay and restrictions of SJSM. However, I was especially unlucky here - it's usually not quite this aggressive.
Due to the way Spooky's divides its rooms with cuts and the overall mechanical differences between the two games, it's not a very good idea to carry Seek over. It would have to be a one-time encounter like Specimen 7 to work, and I'm not interested in doing that.
@@Endimyonn Except the doors variant is unbeatable due to lag issues, by the time any sound or visual appears on your screen the server might already have decided you are dead. But obviously a single player game shouldn't have these kinds of issues.
@@trickygamer555 🤓👆Erm, ackchually, A-90 is ran clientside to prevent any lag issues. Unless a player has a crappy keyboard with a big delay between input-response, there shouldn't be any delay.

NO WAY A-90 IN SPOOKY'S JUMP-SCARE MANSION HD🎉
In DOORS he would already scare the shit out of me, imagine him in SJM bro.
This would totally kick ass in multi-chases! I think its face should be a little larger, and the static shouldn't block the UI.

@@Endimyonn To be fair, I believe the static covered your normal UI in vanilla DOORS as well, at least I remember it being that way.
A-90 + any fast specimen = endless run end

Me: Now, Mr. ROOMS and DOORS, what are you doing here???? A-90: AAAAAAAA-
Now imagine A-60 and A-120 in Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion.
Get this guy with Spooper or any Weeping Angel specimen and you are not gonna have an easy time
THIS IS DOORS NOW YA KNOW
how are people already making mods of spooky's jumpscare mansion.
wait this is actually nuts
“U-90”
short for Unknown Specimen 90
@@Endimyonn ok
A-90 would be soooo annoying if subject 5 is chasing
Could you try making Mental from SCP-087-B by the way?
I mean the masked dude who eithers jumpscares you or runs to you in hall-sized rooms.
@ChrisVideosGreek At this time, I only have plans to develop A-90.
@@Endimyonn I understand.
dude that would be AWESOME
he'd be such an awesome & fitting cameo character like whiteface, he'd be Unknown Specimen 6

wait what's the gameplay here
is it just random damage? Or can you prevent it
@@rubymoonstone5570 You have to stop when it shows up and tells you to stop. If you don't react quick enough, it attacks.
In the mod he attacks so frenquently or it was just to showcase him?

How do you’d get gl computer S.C.A.R.E. Computer at start of endless?
(Just asking :>)
@@MinizelleGamin123 reach room 1,000 in endless at least once, and a trapdoor will appear in the starting area

Thx
I loved ur a-90 mod idea 👍
I wanna see seek next

Seek is not like halt seek can be encountered 2 times in doors
@@cookiesnet8145 Seek is encountered 2 times at fixed locations tho and spans over several rooms.
eh
already have spooper
Just make a very long hallway then your good to go
So are you supposed to stay still when he shows up?
Yes - its behavior is exactly the same as in DOORS.
@@Endimyonn ah I've never played doors, but this is really neat for hd renovation
