Interview with Murray Kohn, Hydrogen Solutions Development Manager, Siemens Energy APAC.

Murray Kohn is Hydrogen Solutions Development Manager for the Sustainable Energy Systems portfolio of Siemens Energy for Asia Pacific Region. The portfolio includes hydrogen electrolysers, power-to-x, solar PV and hybrid energy solutions.
He has been actively involved in promoting Siemens Energy hydrogen technology in its latest renaissance through market development activities for current, new and emerging hydrogen projects within the Asia Pacific region.
Murray’s expertise covers hydrogen technology solutions, mechanical, process and electrical systems applications, business case development and energy technology business management. He has a keen interest in emerging technologies and applications along the whole energy value chain.
Murray began his career in mechanical engineering within industrial manufacturing, joining Siemens (Flender) in 2007 as a pre-sales application engineer. Subsequent roles in project engineering, project management, sales, marketing and bid management have given Murray broad exposure to the deployment of mechanical, electrification, automation and digitalisation solutions in diverse industries including utilities, resources, infrastructure, transportation and manufacturing.
