- In this video, we show how our shop constructs brand new Honda K24 Spool Valve mounted Oil pressure switch connectors that are water tight, and are assembled with all new OE Honda Genuine parts.
If you've ever suffered from a P2646/P2647 CEL code on a Honda Element (or any K24 equipped Honda), then you likely have had some type of water intrusion. The water eventually corrodes the connector and the best fix is to replace the connector with a new one. Various sellers offer aftermarket plugs, but this is the only way to get a new OE plug for the oil pressure switch as Honda does not sell them any more.
Feel free to reach out via FB or IG if you are interested in getting one of these connectors to help resolve the issues associated with codes P2646/P2647. Generally these codes will cause the vehicle to go into limp mode and not rev over 3,000 rpms.

Is this oil pressure switch part of the VTEC solenoid? I have the P2646 code issue on my 2007 Element and it's driving me crazy! I live in Alpharetta, Ga. Thanks in advance...
@@johnmorin2371 email sent and yes. The oil pressure switch screws into the top of the spool valve. The round connector attaches to it. I think oil is going to be the answer on yours
