I'm a Kentuckian who is an honorary Michigander (been adopted by locals LOL). Anyone heading north on I-75 must try Tony's at least once. We go to Mackinac Island ever year and it's a tradition to stop there. If you order anything with bacon (not just the BLT), you're going to get a pound of bacon. I used to get the omelet (which probably consisted of 12 eggs), and good grief, I was eating that bacon for 2 days while we were on Mackinac Island. Their sourdough bread is the best thing in the place, besides the bacon. FYI: the bacon is deep-fried because they serve such huge portions. No griddle could keep up with that. Their burritos are also the size of a smart car. It's always fun just to watch what other people order because each entree is larger than the last. Zehnder's in Frankenmuth is also another diet buster (served family style). Tip: There's a nice little riverboat ride next to the covered bridge to try once COVID goes away in Frankenmuth.
That whole town looks amazingingly fun. I grew up going to visit family in Michigan every year. Never been to Frankenmouth before. Might have to make that long drive.
for how many times i have been to Frankenmuth, I have never went across the covered bridge. Next time you are in Frankenmuth, eat at Zender's chicken dinner place. They give you a lot of food for the price
Hope you went to Bronner's Christmas Store while you were there. It's the biggest Christmas Store in the world (they claim). My wife loves it!!! It's about 5 minutes away (driving) from the main street.
We always went here and stopped in at all different places. Weinerschnitzel os the best! And I love their cherry rhubarb jam! Yum! I wonder if they still have it. Last time we went we decided not to go to the Bavarian Inn cuz their prices tripled from just a few years prior! I bet it’s insane now! Pinconning cheese is better! If the little shack is still there. We used to go for the ice sculpting competitions. I got new bulbs every year but we quit doing Christmas and celebrate the real Holy Days that represent Messiahs plan of salvation n marriage covenant to His Bride.
Frankenmuth is a very nice place. Will and Dawn went to Tony’s restaurant for lunch. Will had the famous BLT sandwich that has one pound of bacon on it. It was huge. He had fries with it. He ate about half of it. Dawn had the turkey club sandwich also with fries. Hers was huge, too. A lot of bacon came on it. She ate about a half, too. They both took the rest with them. Then it was on to Frankenmuth to explore the various stores. The town was very nice. A lot like Gatlinburg. Michigan is a great state to visit and Frankenmuth is one of the cities that is nice. 🙂😉
What a adorable place Chocolate an Cheese!! Really?? Love that Bridge, what year was it built? Two lane bridge 🚘 It looks more like a one lane bridge. When crossing that bridge, since it's two lane, is there a warning light on the other side to let the other drivers know there's another driver crossing over?🚗 I love BLT, but that is a lot of BLT. I Meeeaan A Lot of BLT, ONE POUND 😲 Love this video, it wad Great I had a lot of fun watching it Until The Next Time💖My Friends 🎥Just Keep On Filming an We'll Keep On Watching👀 Thanks For The Ride!
I love how Frankenmuth was covered in just enough snow that you were able to get around and show us how it is such a charming town. I am interested in those two restaurants that serve the chicken dinners. Do they serve the same kind of chicken dinners or are they different?
This is only the best town ever! 🎅 🌲 ☃️
I would live there if I could.
GONNA BE HERE TOMORROW MORNING!!! DEEELICIOUS
