    Thanks for opening my eyes to this as a possibility. This looks like an upgrade that's worth every penny. My Radwagon is a couple weeks old and I can definitely see the benefit to being able to quickly adjust seat heights between me an my partner since we share the bike for kid hauling and she's 5'7" and I'm 6"1". And dropping from full pedal height to a lower level for getting on and off bike or low speed maneuvering would be helpful and safer. I would buy the dropper for those reasons alone. The fact it also has 40mm of air suspension is an awesome bonus. No brainer. I'm buying this ASAP. Anyone complaining about $200+ cost must not have a dropper on their mtn bike. I have a dropper on my 2 mtn bikes and they're essential

    seems very springy, but a luxury upgrade nonetheless

      I'd agree with that. Thanks for your comment.

    Nice review! I like the dropper function of that post, but that's more than I want to spend on a seatpost. Maybe someday when I'm wealthier, lol.

    Oh my, this is exactly what I need. I have a bad knee and need my saddle way up in order to have a hope of pedaling, but when I stop, its tippy toes and dismounting means the nose of the saddle uncomfortably sliding up my butt. I already fell over once because of this problem. But I have to worry about a pump for it. I think the battery pump I have is good up to 175 but I'm of the weight where I'll need the 275-300 psi. No more bike rides to the doughnut shop, I guess.

    What is the diameter size of the dropper post you've used on the Rad Wagon4? 27.2mm? 30.8mm or 31.9mm?

      It was a 30.9 that I used.

    Good review especially the comparing to other higher end suspension posts. I would like one of those cableless droppers with the level under the seat plus the suspension as I don't want the cables showing on my new clean looking belt drive. Thanks

      They make an internally routed cable options, haha.
      But those lever actuated seats are pretty awesome option. Even without the suspension part, being able to raise and lower your seat is an awesome option to have. -JT

    I am getting ready to purchase a hey bike Braun. It comes with a dropper seatpost but it is not suspension as well do you know if this seatpost would be easily retrofitted to that bike. 👀 Tyty ✌️

    Is that glove you're wearing for carpal tunnel protection? What brand is it? Thanks!

      It is not. Ryan sprained his thumb, and this brace was to help it heal faster. Good news is it worked! Not sure of the brand. I believe it was just a generic one from a local pharmacy. -JT

    Do u have any plans to upgrade your Ariel Rider Rideal by adding a suspension stem and suspension post????

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  3 года назад

      I think I will put one of our suspension seatposts on it. The challenge is that my wife can barely get on the high step model which means that the extra length with the suspension poses a problem. It is unlikely I will put a suspension stem on it unless I want to test the one out from Redshift. The seatpost is the way to go.

    Can't to find a weight limit for this. Did they have anything 8in the manual?

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  3 года назад

      275 is the upper weight limit they give for how much pressure so maybe that's it? The folks at PNW are super friendly - I'd shoot them a message. Let me know what they say.

    Another useless review of suspension dropper post. Dude, you did not show what it does and how it does.

      @EbikeEscape  3 года назад +1

      I'm not sure what more you'd like to see. I showed how it worked and went off a curb to demonstrate the suspension.

      @@EbikeEscape The obvious concern/question is if the saddle is all the way down, what happens to 40mm suspension travel. Can you actually retract the seat post all the way down to the seat tube?
