As a wee digger, I never got the hype about Mr. Axelrod. I decided to find an album of his to see what the big deal was all about. This was the first Axelrod LP I ever purchased. After listening to it the whole way through, I finally understood the hype and was in awe. I have been a fan ever since.

T Dub No surprising there. Axelrod, along with James Brown, has got to be two of the most sampled artists in hip hop. Oh yeah, and early Kool And The Gang stuff.

@@boychildnew1 I’m 26 now and have come across a lot over the past 9 yrs. I’d say there’s definitely amazing artists out there. You have to do some digging unfortunately but that kinda makes it that much Better when you do find a talented original artist
