Off we went to Thornley woods somewhere we have never been in the 15 years we have lived her.
We followed the Yellow route to find all the Sculptures. It was a fabulous walk.

Such a beautiful forest and nice walking path. Very nice wood carvings all along the way. I have never seen a place like this before. Also all the landscapes of the surrounding area were lovely.

The sculptures were great, not sure which was my favourite, maybe the hare hiding at the bottom of the tree.
That morning mist was lovely, I rarely get out in time to see it 😂
The cafe sounded great although disappointed you didn't get cake 😋🤣

I was like a kid spotting the Sculptures lol 😆 I think the redkite one was awesome but loved the owl one too! It's so difficult when they were all so good.

Great walk, Steve and Anna. The woods look quite extensive. We did drive past on the way to Gibside, which also has a nice walking route around it. Fantastic to see the red kites, we could hear them when we visited Gibside but never saw them. You'll have to get a camcorder for wildlife spotting, they'll zoom right in.
Can't believe we haven't been here before but glad we've done it. There's a few walks around there including a Redkite Walk.

Gorgeous woodland you have there.
Loved the river and the bridges plus the carvings on the second part of the walk.
Then the mists over the heathland and the river.
Cool to see Red Kites. And you could hear them calling too. A really good view you had. We have a lot around here now. Just love watching them.
We’re finally getting over the bug so looking forward to getting back out again.

It's strange as this is on our doorstep yet never been! It's so nice to walk down by the river it was so quiet. The mist really adds some atmosphere to the vlog.

My Lymph-System went haywire...I am stuck in a chair for a while still as I am waiting, very patiently, for our Cancer Treatment Center to step up. All Diagnostics are done! :) now the hard part, getting Treatment! :) This Video was like Medicine for me, while I am taking mine! I had a THC-infused Spritzer! I am so glad the Crowds were the Wildlife! Thank you both!

@@gatersontour I know sorry but only thing is it's problem after problem never seems to end lol always good to take a break though and maybe late for camping this year as we are having car trouble and it's going to be expensive and on top of that got MOT due so if anything else props up on it we getting rid of it so may be without a car for a bit soon to but we will get there all the best love from us all.x
