Hey what's up, another great teaching from you. This do not have anything to do with your current topic. I want to thank you for teaching me how to get watermelons. I had 4 in one area and 3 in the other. My pepper plants did poorly this year. I have to admit I'm not a container grower. Babysitting and buying stuff. Nope. So everything in ground next year. Have an awesome day
HEY Cheryl!!! You are welcome. I am glad you were able to get watermelons. I am not good at it either but I am getting better. I like growing in the ground as well. Have a great day.
HEY Hope!!! That's cool. I killed them when I pulled them up so it's all good with me. Pruning is the way. I understand you though. I just want to get a jump start to getting peppers sooner if I can. I hope I can keep them all alive.
Hey Bear Brown! I have a question 🙋🏾♀️ I live in the Bay Area in Ca and our winters don’t get too cold. My pepper plants make it through the winter but don’t come back as strong. Should I be pruning them back once it gets cold? Thanks for the video ❤
HEY SauceySav!!!! Now I don't know anything about gardening in an area that does not get cold like my area. Based on reading your message I would experiment. I would leave one or 2 as you normally do. Then I would prune one or 2 down and leave it in the ground. If you want you could try doing 2 or 3 like I am doing. Then you can compare to see what is better then you will have the evidence.
I am in zone 10a Los Angeles. I prune my chili pepper plants once they finish producing. I continue watering but no fertilizer till after the rains in February.
HEY John!!!! You are welcome, Bruh. I pulled them too, but I want peppers sooner and this is the way to do it. Imagine all the peppers you will get all next season. You have to do this before your first frost.
I tried that last year but I was not successful but I might try this again but apply your advice
Me too 😢
HEY Jeff!!! I was not successful either but I did not do a few of these steps. I think I will have a better chance this time.
What zone are you growing in?
I am in zone 8a. I have to do this before my first frost. I have another 28 days but I had to clear my raised bed.
B B Good going bro, thank for sharing
HEY J3gsfarm!!! Thanks, bro, I appreciate it.
I appreciate you taking time out to inform everyone about how to over winter pepper plants.🙏🏿👊🏿👍🏿
HEY MrJermell!!! No problem, my friend, anytime. Thanks for watching.
I over wintered last year. Can I do the same plants again for a second time ?
HEY Wendell!!!! Yes, you can do it again. I have seen someone on RUclips save one pepper plant for 4 years.
Thank you for sharing.
HEY Marian!!! You are welcome.

I won't be doing all that looks like u killing the plant too much work for me I will plant seeds in spring
@@hopemorrison2367 👍🏾 also, you can just save your seed from your favorite pepper plant to replant in the spring.

Thanks once again for sharing your knowledge!
You are welcome. Anytime my friend.
I really like the idea of using the sticky stuff for bugs.
Yes, it is good stuff and it is not expensive either.
I'm going to try to over winter 5 pepper plants ❤
Sounds great! I have 4 done now, I might do a few more.
Have you ever over wintered okra?
Wanda, I have not. I have not grown okra in a few years.
there is no link for the soap
HEY @Mozee01!!! Thanks for letting me know. I added it to the description. It's the unscented one you want.
We are in central Florida, zone 9. Is 'overwintering' needed for our zone?
HEY Kelly!!! I don't know too much about your zone. If you get a first frost I would do it. My first frost comes in about 28 days. I have more to do.

Thank you for the info. We rarely get any frost here. Hopefully, I can keep an eye on it. Thank you again.
Mmmm thank you, Bruh. I would always just pull them up, an put them in the compost. I'm gonna try it
