    This is what Harley does with every motor generation. The original smaller displacement stays around for a few years, then gets axed. Then the larger displacement engine becomes the standard engine, and the big CVO engine becomes the bigger option. Then they add a new CVO engine that's bigger yet.
    Maybe not this year, but I suspect we will see Harley have a 121 or 124ci in the CVO bikes.

    What about the self-balancing 2020 module?
    The Harley-Davidson gyroscope, is not only useful for older motorcyclists but also to forget any hesitation due to weight, both when stationary and at very very low speeds, since the first purchase whatever the age.
    Harley-Davidson is going to open the market wide, in three wide-open ways.
    1. To expand the use of customization parts catalog by building a wider and higher customer age pyramid than ever before,
    2. To ensure a stronger first Harley-Davidson motorcycle purchase for any new weight-reassured customer.
    3. To extend prospecting inside other bikers of all brands via this independent module.
    Stop tipping when stationary or crashing at very very low speed from all heavy motorcycles in the world. Harley-Davidson thought about it in 2020, leveraging its full universal rollout now for the 120th anniversary in 2023.

    Imagine a 370 Pan America as an entry bike. Uni students, younger gen and ladies wanting to get into riding that don't want a big heavy bike may well be attracted. Harley folks that may want a second bike to do some off-roading/fire trail riding may well get one also. But it needs to be reasonably priced.

    Sure their special series bikes can have cool colors, but they make an already expensive bike even more so. The regular colors suck and are a barrier to my buying one. Boring black, primer gray. Really?

  • @johnsalvi9073

    Seems like Harley isn’t or doesn’t categorize their models asking the customers specifically what size engine they want. You should be able to order a specific model with a specified engine.

    • @hotel-delta
      @hotel-delta  Год назад

      If they asked, everyone would want the biggest motor possible, and everyone would want to customize an order. You would be waiting years like Tesla

    Finally!!! someone telling the truth about the Pan America's, Soooo many electronic issues. My 22' PanAm special only has 4k on it and has thrown so many codes, the adaptive ride height crashed, all modes went away and motor started knocking. After two months at Harley Dealership they say they are clearing codes , riding and chasing down codes so that they can get two sheets of problems before Milwaukee HD will help them fix it, what a joke. But I agree, the 3500 miles I got to ride mine before it crap out, it is one of my favorites. Just curious, if they can't figure PanAm out , how are these others gonna fair?

    • @hotel-delta
      @hotel-delta  Год назад +1

      It seems that most issues come from one of two places. The connectors and the software. I finally got a solid code and we replaced the crank position sensor. While doing that my main Pan Am Tech went through all the connections and we also re-did the pins on my ARH. It's been bullets since then.
