I believe there are reporting requirements when running for certain elected offices. I lived in SC for a while so I am familiar with my members of Congress and he is a dirtbag. It was determined that if the war had dragged on, as many as 7 million more people would have died, on either side and others. Using those bombs saved millions of lives. No need to apologize, they were offered the chance to surrender before each bomb.
