Rcmp police dogs and their handlers are world class. One of if not the best in the world. They breed and train all their own dogs and are constantly training weekly when they aren't working. If you ever get the chance to visit their National Training Center in Innisfail, Alberta for their open house training presentations in the summer it is well worth it.
I would have loved to seen the interaction between the K9 and the little girl too. I'm hoping that this happy ending made up for alot of not so happy endings for them both. Thank you officers!
Poor little girl, she was probably so scared alone in the woods. My girl is 4 years old and I would be devastated if she was lost. So glad this turned out well in the end.
This kind of police work warms my heart. Maybe they should have to watch videos like this once a year to remind them why they got into the force in the first place.
