Not sure if you guys gives a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times then you can stream all the new series on Instaflixxer. Have been watching with my girlfriend recently =)
I recently purchased this badd ass car I'm thinking of upgrading it to vinelion system & run my hoo vo 3s lipo my question will this system make my feista rip cuz I have that in my bandit & let me clue ya it rips like hell & can you add a light kit for the feista & thanks for sharing dude 🤘
The setup is great with the 3s lipo. However, if you gear up it will over heat easily so you should get the esc fan a motor heatsync. For adding lights, I do believe you have to change the transmitter.
Are you using the correct velineon motor? If using another brand, sometimes the shaft is a bit shorter. Also, make sure the pinion is in the correct position with the gear at the outer part.
I got it! I took the back off like you did and didn’t realize that little screw that the motor hinges on the body plate was caked up with dirt. This mfr RIPS now lol, such a dramatic difference.
So you should definitely replace the center diff with a slipper clutch from a slash. The motor and esc combo can be the velineon I used for easy compatibility but you can go with a hobbywing brushless combo. If you're using a 3s battery at some point, you should definitely get a motor fan as well, specially if using high pinion gear.
Hey I have question about my Ford Fiesta rc I just put a bunchless motor too what pinion gear are you used because I am used the one it came with titan 12t does it go more faster with a different gear let me know please thank you
Mikey198722 the recommended gearing with that setup to be able to bash around is a 13T pinion gear and a 54T spur gear. I bought the slipper clutch that came with the spur gear and the separate 13T pinion gear. This will be a 32 pitch setup. The spur and pinion gear size (pitch) must match.
Shaun Hulse I just leave the car on a surface and try not to move it after the paper is in. Then I tighten the motor screws. Also, try not to have to have the motor screws too loosened up because after tightening it could be very far off.
I definitely recommend replacing the center diff with slash 4x4 slipper clutch setup along with the 32pitch gears. Center diff doesn't hold much power.
I just bought this RC car last week, I am installing a Castle Mamba X combo setup. I am running a 16T pinion Gear and a Steel 83T Spur Gear (48 pitch). I also got the steel center driveshaft typically found on the Slash 4x4 VXL. Planning on running it on 4s lipo. What do you think about the Gear Ratio's? I'm looking for speed around 40-50 while still having some low end torque.
I'm still pretty new to RC. I got my first slash about 3 weeks ago. I'm not sure how this setup is going to work out. Do you think I will need to change the clutch out? I am using a bigger motor by castle and a 4s lipo (If it works). I just watched a video where someone melted the stock clutch on 3s lipo. Also, I have a new slash 4x4 vxl slipper clutch left over. Will that fit? I know its way beefier than the one that comes on the rally ford fiesta
I would definitely use the slipper clutch. That's what I have on mine. I've seen people using the slipper clutch out of the rustle I believe it is when using a lot of power.
Nice install. She will be flying now👍👍
Kenny mph Melanko it's pretty quick now. I can barely drive it 😂
Beyond scared to try this. I just got mine as a bday gift and very new to the hobby but I would love to do all of this and just go crazy fast
Same
It's very simple
Why would you be scared? It’s all part of the hobby.

@Kyree Koa Yea, been watching on instaflixxer for years myself :)
You dont need to take the shocks off the tower it just makes it harder to put the spur gear back in
I know. It was the first time I ever took that apart and realized it after I did it. I was very new to the hobby. Sorry 🤷🏻♂️😂
Nice

You went the long way on disassembly LOLOLOL I have done this swap as well .
This is me basically knowing nothing about rc cars 😕😂
@@odrctrx754... its all good u gotta start somewhere nice rally car tho .👍Go TRAXXAS.!!
Hmm I can’t get the pinion gear to reach the other gear, don’t know how I’m fuckjng this up

Great video thanks for sharing it 👌
Coralys Gonzalez Nice!
Anyway u can give a part list for ur build trying to get mine to go faster 🤪

Swap It ok thank you I buy the slipper clutch already 6878 so 13 t pinion gear I will get it
The new bunchless motors are amazing.
Upgrade to 1/8 combo. Super fast
Mikey198722 I just put a 14t in mine and it seems to have plenty of torque still
I have thw same setup but struggling to mesh the gears as the spur gear moves. Used paper method etc but not quite right. Any tips

Swap It do you mean the one silver screw which holds down the motor?
Yes
Do I just need the brushless setup and car for this or do I need other parts?

I'm currently using 54T spur and 19T pinion on 32pitch. Using 3s lipo that's about what I'm running.

What size gearing did you use?
ryan mcnatt I used a 13T pinion gear and a 54T spur gear.
thanks, I got my car last week and am waiting on parts this week.
ryan mcnatt you bought a fiesta ?
Yes and my velinion system arrives Thursday.
You'll love it 💪
Top speed?
I think it was in the 30s with the 2s lipo battery.
@@odrctrx754 use 2s? Not 3s?
Horrible music :-( Nice video otherwise, but please get some proper tools ;-)
