I'm quite impressed with how far Redcat has come as a company. I remember when they mad a lot of cheap rubbish. They've certainly lifted up their game.
I'm a fan of the Stance. I think the stance is a little more upgradable, a little better balanced, and the Vanquish axles may be a tad more durable. I just think the Stance is better quality and will have less issues over time. The Redcat being $100 less and already has a Fusion is awesome. Redcat has really raised the bar for performance and price. Awesome video👍🏾💯🔥
I agree with you, Vanquish always has top notch products, but with Redcat stepping up their game I had to take a chance on it 😊 It didn't disappoint but yes Vanquish has it going on for sure! Thanks for watching 😊
I agree with you on the looks. I think we all know Vanquish makes excellent products, but when I saw the advertisement for the Fusion....it was a done deal for me. That black and red goes stupid hard.
The Fusion is one rig ive been able to do several mods and upgrades to and not double the cost of the truck. An extra $100 (and a few free ones of my own), and i have an amazing performing truck. I dont have a stance so i cant comment on it but i know vanquish has some great stuff but mam are they proud of it 😅.
I agree upgrading the redcat is more financially efficient than the stance. Vanquish puts out amazing products and the price point shows 😊 what upgrades did you do to the fusion? 😍
@RCprincess24 so far I've put in injora anti foams, brass inserts, aluminum wheels, losi mini t springs and heavier shock oil, and moved the cab back using the stock mounts to give it a better approach angle.
It’s actually a family hobby for the most part. We are all at different level of interests but mostly we go out together including my mom, my husband, and my son but yes my dad and I are the crazy nuts in the hobby. 😂
I know the Fusion is the product of Redcat listening to feedback on the Ascent but id like to see them do the same on the Fusion and come out with a V2. Great video btw.
i've seen a bunch of these vids. i like how you approached yours which is not just hyper focused on performance. the fusion in the redcat is not programmable like the standalone. if you watch carefully, the stance does a significant better job in weight transfer and keeping composure when losing traction or when reaching its limit before flipping. the ascent suffers from the cms and the bumpsteer; the panhard bar is also mounted incorrectly which causes even more issues with weight transfer and the geometry of the links are setup incorrectly (ratio of uppers/lowers are not proportionate the fronts and weight). Try the rigs with same weight wheels and tires. the value (not just performance) would go with stance as its also far more versatile for upgrades, bodies, etc
Yes I agree the Stance would win hands down. This video was a comparison without any upgrades so people could see which one was truly "RTR" for the price points they are set at. The Stance already costs $100 more plus then upgrading it whereas the Redcat has almost every upgrade I personally would throw at it. There are changes we both would like to make to the trucks so another video will be coming a little later after that is done and I have my suspicions on which one will out perform the other 😊 Thanks for watching.
cool vid, both trucks look great. the VDR def has a clearance, huge tire advantage. But I like the fusion myself, a crawl off for pt 2 of the head to head breakdown would be great to see. Running them up a wall of some sort to see who reaches the highest. best side hill ect..
Have you not ran like a big boy Servo like let's say shift RC or reefs RC one of their like 900 Oz with 8.4 BC and seeing like the power and big speed that that can give you just a question did a great job on the video
Thanks 😊 If i wouldn't have added in all the personal preference categories, the Stance would have won, but you really can't beat what Redcat threw into the Ascent for the price tag either. If it was just crawling, yes the Stance wins hands down. They are both amazing in my opinion. Thanks for watching 🫶
The Stance has more room for improvement . The Redcat is more budget friendly and if you put some attention to the Stance it will outperform the Redcat along with many others
The point of the comparison was to run both stock so people could see the difference without upgrades being thrown at either. Which one is really RTR was the question at hand. I agree, the Stance getting some upgrades would perform better, but it costs more to do so when it already cost $100 more. I am planning on doing another video later on down the road of both getting the upgrades we want and then putting them to the test again and yes I have my suspicion of which will perform better 😊
Yeah but you also need to look at this on The Stance is going to be a lot more comp friendly I believe versus the red cat not just that but honestly the Vanquish Products is known to be top-notch 100% I'm not saying Red Cat ain't but before all I've ever heard was crap about Redcat I don't know though I'm not driving the truck
O yes for sure, vanquish is top notch! I think we all were shocked when Redcat threw this rig out there because I as well have only heard that they are not the best products and basically cheap under performing rigs, but this one, I absolutely love. No one would disagree with you Vanquish has it going on but in the way of being upgraded, I’d have to drop more money into the stance to get it to where the redcat is so basically the redcat is a great option for people who don’t want to spend that much money. To each their own, some people are fully ok with how the stance is stock out of the box so 100% personal preference 😊
Really the only good thing about the redcat is the carbon rails and the motor. Everything else needs upgrades. The only thing to upgrade on the stance is the motor and servo. Just my view from owning both trucks. I've spent around 300 dollars on up grades for the redcat and it still can't preform like the stance
This is a great example of personal preference. I agree with you about the Stance really only needing a motor and servo, however I'm not sure how you put $300 into the Redcat. I'm really curious to know what all you upgraded if you don't mind telling. 😊 Besides some problems with the set up that I have heard from some people, I have no problem with the motor or servo on the Redcat. I did upgrade the tires and wheels but that has been all so far.
@@RCprincess24 Hey your right it's personal preference. And I said the motor in the redcat is good along with the chassis but I did upgrade my servo because the original one got wet and went out on me. I also bought aluminum beadlocks to and a little more weight down low. And a set of rupture tires. That and the reefs servo came to around 300 bucks. Now I'm thinking of getting a set of capra axles because I'm tired of the pins coming out on the redcat axles. Also by running the capra axles I can run servo on axle and change the front end to a four link set up.
@@givemethetruth7232 O gotcha! I see now. So I don't have a problem with the servo which is why I haven't replaced it but ya if it went out on you, I would have thrown a reefs in as well. Yes, I have heard that loctite is your best friend when owning a Redcat Ascent Fusion. Capra axles are bomb though so not a bad idea.
Enjoyed this content? If so, please consider subscribing and giving this video a thumbs up- it would make my day 🥰 Thanks a bunch for being awesome!

Yes! 🙌 they really stepped up their game. Thank you for watching 😊
Nice head to head comparison! Redcat has really stepped up their game lately!
100% agree with you! 😊

Team Black and Red all day long!! Love the redcat!! Great video as always!
yes! 🙌 Thank you so much! 😊
I love the Redcat Ascent Fusion! It WILL be my next RC purchase! I have a tracked TRX4, but this will blow that thing away on the rocks!

@@nathanstewart2018 Very nice! Great mods done ✅
So I take it the way you was talking it's you and your dad doing this stuff together that is so freaking awesome

Nice video for most part I agree plus extra 100 goes long way in fixing tire issues
Yes, in my opinion tires are one of the most important things to be able to perform well. Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Great video as usual. Keep up the great work!
Thank you 😊
I know the Fusion is the product of Redcat listening to feedback on the Ascent but id like to see them do the same on the Fusion and come out with a V2. Great video btw.
What is the wheelbase difference between the two?
The Redcat's wheelbase is a bit shorter (12.32 inches) and the Stance has a 12.67 inch wheelbase. 😊

both great crawlers 👌😎😎😎😃👍

Another great video😊👍awesome crawling spot too. thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 😊
This is a great comparison two hottest trucks out
Agree 100%! 🙌

No, the biggest I've gone is a Reefs 500. Thank you for your support of my channel 😊
great video but it is hard to see the Redcat "win" when the VRD clearly out crawled it during the entire video.
Thanks 😊 If i wouldn't have added in all the personal preference categories, the Stance would have won, but you really can't beat what Redcat threw into the Ascent for the price tag either.
