      @@reichigo yeah for me it was realy helpful but turning any thing in the language you're learning is really good because you always learn new words. Such subtle things someone can use to learn. This game is perfect for that. When you pulled out the cassette tapes and said これは何だよう, your face combined with leaning into the camera made it very very clear you were saying "ayo bruh what is this?"

    • @devintheguru
      @devintheguru 3 месяца назад +8

      これは何だ「ろ」う, yeah, that's basically the sentiment.
      I also like the use of advanced grammar sprinkled in, like when she uses てーある、ーたりする、てーおく and such. It's a natural way to introduce these grammatical structures. And describing locations and orientations of objects is very useful language to learn. So much easier to understand a demo rather than listening to a professor write stuff on a whiteboard 😆
      I don't even understand why 横 was never taught in any of my classes. 側 is similar, but doesn't mean the same thing. We learned 隣, which is closer in meaning, but is not as specific as 横, meaning to the side of something

I think its better this way for me because seeing the words themselves overwhelms me rather then the sounds and pronunciations.
