I know this is a super late comment but thought I'd toss it out there anyway. This is a GREAT vehicle combination, and the filming is nothing less than perfect! I have the same combo but added the crane to the truck. Everything else is out-of-the-box set up. I noticed in the vid that he has all the diffs locked up and am contemplating doing the same but am hesitant because my research gives back 50/50 positive results. Yes, it helps in pulling and traction (Especially with a heavy load.) But on the back side few horror stories state that it trashes drivelines and transmission. Alot of your comments address/question standing on trailer and suspension springs. The kit comes with "Light" springs that they say can carry approx 22Lbs, (10kg) whereas the "Heavy" springs are supposed to support approximately 80Lbs (36kg).The other thing that I was going to address was the comment about matching scale models. I'm finding that hard to do in the military style RC equipment. Truck and trailer are obviously 1/12 but all my tanks are 1/16. Next available size up tank is 1/6, which is too big for truck/trailer, AND THEY GET REAL PRICEY! That's my 2 cents worth.
As if the truck is not heavy enough already, it appears it could use a little more weight while towing the trailer. Great video! I am eagerly awaiting mine to show up :-)

Hey! Nice truck. I have 2 of them as well. In the video there is a very pronounced "clicking" sound in some of your scenes. Additionally, in one of the shots around 4:22, you have a lot of play in that shaft coming out of the differential. It sounds like there is some tooth chipping action going on in there. On both of mine, I noticed quite a bit of play in the bearing seats on the differential housings. Like...... a lot of play to be honest. I developed a clicking sound similar to what I believe these old ears are hearing in your video. I took the diffs apart, and the second to last one had a chipped ring gear. Almost 2 whole teeth. That is when I really noticed the play in the housings. I've shimmed mine using various methods to almost eliminate all unwanted play so that universals do their thing. I have not had any issues since. Nice videos. I enjoy watching them. I'm going to buy the trailer as well!

The truck is noisy from the drive shaft because it used to play in the water a lot.
