Okay this is probably a really dumb question. But what exactly is this song about? I mean I sort of get the gist of it, but I'm confused.

That's what I think:
Soo peeps are turning(??) into crows or something because of darkness and shadows and stuff and there's this girl who can somehow take away their pain, by her suffering instead (and when a crow gets 'cured', it turns white). Sooooo everyone wants yo be cured and she blesses every single crow (good gurl). Buuuut, as I mentioned earlier, she like has the darkness from the crows so unfortunatelly, she dies because of it. The end.
I doubt I am even close to the right meaning, but well-
