I actually ended up sticking with English VA for ZZZ because in other languages I found he sounded extremely mundane and totally without that Deadpool energy.
It has more mature tone While the new one is more pitched which actually more fitting since he's like has more expression while the old is more charming tbh
Although the old VA has only been with the game for only a few weeks, at least he did very well, which is commendable. Anyway, I really hope Billy's new VA will continue to do what he can do well
The new VA is Bakugo's Va in MHA, I had no idea until he tweeted it. I love it personally because of the emotion and it fits with how the character is.
They even sound similar, I think ordinary people won't even notice the difference. After all, different emotions are demonstrated in the game and the demo.
The second one is closer to the energy and demeanor of the CN voice (let’s be honest, it’s a game made by a CN company, the CN voice will always be exactly what the designers intended).

Its a pretty common thing for studios to change voice actor's from the preview to the actual release. Like Hazbin Hotel has noticeable differences in the voices of characters like Alastor
New VA was definitely an upgrade over the last one. I feel his more high pitched and cartoonish sound of speaking fit Billy’s personality a lot better.
Both VAs did a good job but his new VA definitely feels more like Billy Kid but that isn’t a bad thing, some VAs are better suited for some roles than others
They both sound awesome and did a great job! If I had to choose which one I’d prefer as hard as that is, I think the higher pitch suits his energy and vibe better to me? Again though, they both did great!

I really liked Billy’s old voice actor and was really sad when I found out he got changed. However, I can’t think of anyone better to recast him than Clifford Chapin (who I believe to be the new one) because his rendition of the character is just as good.
The change works way better for how goofy Billy is. Plus it was awesome hearing this voice after just finishing the Duke Of Death and His Maid as I was like “hey it’s him!” Lol
I'll just say Old voice makes him sound like Dante from Devil May Cry (in tone and acting) And the new voice is like Deadpool (the same, tone ans acting)
I THOUGHT THERE WAS SOMETHING OFF!! I only really jumped on the ZZZ train on release day so I watched the pre-release teasers ans demos after spending a long time with the current Billy voice. Thought it was just a change in voice *direction* , though not a new VA altogether!

I swear that one line when hovering over him on the Agent screen when he says “I got to guns so.. double the accuracy” sounds like both Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and as something Deadpool would say. Caught me quite by surprise.
I like both, tho the first one I miss cuz it has that charming Deadpool-vibe that I first fell in love with. The second one is a lil goofier, but my man is goofy so it’s fine with him. Makes him even more Deadpool without being Deadpool. Hell DP would go for super goofy when he REALLY needs to chill 😅
