@@wickedwitchoftheeast88 In season 2 he was very manipulative tho. He did everything to get back to Susan and lied about having changed. He made her believe he broke up with Eddie just to sleep with her which then caused her so much trouble. He also made her break up with her doctor boyfriend by making him meet Mike. So yeah abusive isn't the right word but he was definietely manipulative towards her and Eddie.

Psychological abuse can be as bad, if not worse than physical abuse, though. You can get over most physical stuff, but psychological stuff is harder to let go of and can manifest into physical sickness.

Susan is the best, so funny and really cares for the others. I think it's amazing how she forgave Karl for cheating her cause he said he was in love lol sadly he was lying, she always forgives everyone. Her concern for Bree is so sweet, and the way she gave her blessing is perfect, and I doubt Karl would change for Bree. He always loved Susan tho, but was a crapy husband for her.
What makes me really sad about all this is in the end, Karl doesn’t change, not for Susan or for Bree. I had always hoped Karl could one day be a good man. Personally, I always liked Karl and Susan better than Mike and Susan, so part of me always hoped they’d get back together.
