Brother David Wilkerson chose a man of like-spirit. David Wilkerson's preaching could be heard through Carter Conlon's messages. Ultimately, it was the Holy Spirit speaking through the both of them. They have been giants in preaching truth in love, boldly and unashamedly. May others learn from these mighty men of God who preached not in their own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. I am from South Africa, and as we have the Big Five: the Elephant, the Lion, the Leopard, the Cape Buffalo and the Rhinoceros. I discovered Pastor Conlon about 5 years ago and instantly felt this is a man of God. I also have the Big Five in pastors/apologetic I always have the Big Five, Billy Graham, Ravi Zacharias, John Lennox, Nabeel Qureshi and Pastor Carter Conlon. Humility and a sharp mind is the golden thread that runs through the Big Five in Apologetics and Pastors. As valuable the Big Five is to all South Africans, Pastor Conlon was also, to me at least, part of the Big Five. Every preaching I heard from Pastor Conlon blessed and encouraged my live in the most difficult times I had to face. I am writing from Colombia, a "third world" country and one of my greatest dream is to visit Times Square Church and know the wonderful God's people there. The way you present God' msg to your flock, via your sermons, and the emphasis used on wording made a powerful msg indeed. This, your last God inspired msg as Senior Pastor of TSC was no different. The Message, it's presentation and deliverence were uniquely Carter Conlon. And again, IMHO, directed straight at me. It's been a pleasure to hear your sermons over these many years. Though we never met, I feel you to be as a blood relative and though you say you'll be there, behind the scene's, I will sorely miss your style and leadership skills. I discovered Pastor Conlon about 5 years ago and instantly felt this is a man of God. I also have the Big Five in pastors/apologetic I always have the Big Five, Billy Graham, Ravi Zacharias, John Lennox, Nabeel Qureshi and Pastor Carter Conlon. Humility and a sharp mind is the golden thread that runs through the Big Five in Apologetics and Pastors. As valuable the Big Five is to all South Africans, Pastor Conlon was also, to me at least, part of the Big Five. The way you present God' msg to your flock, via your sermons, and the emphasis used on wording made a powerful msg indeed. This, your last God inspired msg as Senior Pastor of TSC was no different. The Message, it's presentation and deliverence were uniquely Carter Conlon. And again, IMHO, directed straight at me.
It's been a pleasure to hear your sermons over these many years. Though we never met, I feel you to be as a blood relative and though you say you'll be there, behind the scene's, I will sorely miss your style and leadership skills. If Pastor Tim is as good as you say he is, we undoubtedly are left in quite capable hands.

Dear Pastor Conlon: I did not know what i was looking for when God led me to one of yours sermons. And until that moment, i did not know that preachers like you exists those days!!!
Because of you, because of the spirit working through you, i learned soooo much about me and God - it helped me to change my life COMPLETELY! I found my way to the Lord! I´m still struggling with some "needs" of the flesh, but i talk to the Lord everyday and turned my whole life, gave it to his hands, fully.
