A couple years back, I took a look at the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie. Now that there's a sequel and officially a franchise, can this follow up be bigger and better than the first? I loved sonic 2 very excited for sonic 3 😁
From the anticipation of seeing Tails at the ending of the first film, I was excited for the sequel. But when Knuckles was revealed in the sequel’s trailer, I was hyped for the 2nd Sonic movie!
I will say that some of the jokes are a misfire, but besides all that, Sonic 2 was such a fun big screen movie experience for me! I loved how Knuckles was handled in this film as he had been not my favorite ever since the Boom portrayal of him. But in this film, he felt like the awesome mobian echidna I grew up with.
Jim Carrey’s performance was chefs kiss, nothing more to add about him.😅 The introduction of G.U.N was a very good add on via side plot too. Ofc, the most hyped I’ve gotten was Super Sonic and the reveal of Shadow, truly the greatest highlights of the film for me!
At this point, I’m very excited for the third Sonic film because from what info I’ve been gathering about it recently, I have a good feeling that it’ll live up to or exceed my expectations. Very nice review!😉👍🏽
From being a long-time fan of this franchise I really like how well the production of them was handled and I too think that the second one is better than the first one. I went to see each of them in a nearby theater with my parents, and I gave those people a big hug each time because of how thankful I have been that they were able to let me see those movies on the big screen. I've always believed that the scene of Rachel driving in on that golf-cart yelling: Randal, wifie's home!!!! and when she gets called "Bridezilla" are soo hilarious. I'm extremely hyped for the third movie and from a discussion with one of my neighbors, that person will take me to see that one a second time, so Sonic 3 will be the first movie that I will have ever watched in a theater twice!
Incase you haven't heard about it yet, the problem of game songs not being put into the Sonic movies, is NOT going to repeat itself again when that third movie gets released because the Crush 40 lead singer/songwritter (Johnny Gioeli) replied a confirmation that he had signed a deal for Paramount to get the rights to the SA2 main theme song Live & learn, to some desperate fans who questioned him about the situation! So the upcoming third movie will have some version of that very popular hard rock banger song that a multitude of fans worldwide (including me) have been begging for that movie to have in it, playing at some time during the climax of it! I got thrilled when I found out about that, especially because it's currently my #1 favorite song!

I love both movies. They were so much fun to watch, and I can't wait for the third to come out. I love your review of it. I agree with a lot of your points about the movie.
I was so hyped for this movie. I got to see it with my sisters, one who is a bigger Sonic fan than me, and one who only has a passing knowledge of Sonic. The fact that all three of us thought it was a great movie is the best praise I can give it. I am eagerly awaiting the first trailer to drop for the third movie.

I think the craziest thing for me was the fact that I didn't watch any trailers for this movie. I knew it was coming out, I knew Knuckles was going to be in it, but with other things going on at the time, I just didn't see any of the marketing footage. I did however, see this movie opening night, and it was an experience. From seeing Tails, to seeing the best version of Knuckles we got in a very long time, to the insane reveal of Shadow. And to find out that Jim Karry is coming back one last time, and that the legend Keanu Reeves is going to voice the ultimate lifeform. December can't come any sooner.

I watched both Sonic movies theaterically and as a long-time fan, I became impressed with how the production of these movies were handled. I've been planning to have the third movie be the first movie that I will watch in theaters twice because I think that it will possibly be the most exciting one.

This is no way a fake leak because he revealed that exciting info in an e-mail reply to some desperate fans who questioned him about the situation, so it's official that some version of that highly wanted song will be playing in the Sonic 3 movie!
I’m glad they got Colleen to reprise her role (great work if you can get it).
I honestly hope that more voice actors from the games can make appearances one way or another.
How NONE of Sonic's voice actors have managed to get cameos in the movies yet I will never understand!

Do you think you can make a what if Series where when Mabel goes to that Sonic like Gravity Falls Road she could crash into Sonic and Tails and maybe you can make it so somehow they already know each other for plot reasons and they're okay with helping them get past and back to her universe but of course eggman's dad to try and stop them and you think you could also do a stand-up series of you doing all the lines from the Gravity Falls lost Legends book and to be honest it would be pretty cool to hear you do a cover of the Gravity Falls hide and seek music video and the Gravity Falls she Shanty in the Lost Legends book about Stan and Ford along with the my heart's in Gravity Falls song just suggestions but maybe you should do them they sound like good ideas
