Thanks for the vid. The trimmer I have is the Brightup FK 8788T which appears to be similar in the attachments. Mine weren't cutting at all with the two widest trimmer blades. I decided to take it a part, same as you had and cleaned the fixed guard and the moving blade as there was beard hairs that were underneath and stuck between. As soon as I cleaned and re-assembled the blade, they started working to actually cut again where before it was just pulling even a single hair. Yes, the hardest part is getting it aligned and to keep pressure on the fixed plate to line up with the plastic mounting base. But, yes get it started and the hold it with fingers and the the thumb applying the pressure against the spring to be able to get the screws secured properly. I tested trimming after against my arm hair and it was cutting the hairs fine, and on my face too.
