Have watched every single ep Of garden talk your a bloody good bugga Chris...could you please do a ep purely around autopots with someone who has used them and worked through some of the common issues Root rot, lockout etc Re watched the ep think 13 or 14 where the dude covered it but a whole ep dedicated to them would be awesome thanks for your time Peeeeace ✌️
Thx for your contribution to the community, Chris. I'm growing DWC for the first time myself, so this is great, timely advise. I appreciate the scientific information. I will be studying Daniel's videos extensively.
Been waiting for this video awhile now I appreciate you taking us hydro growers into consideration. I've grown flower just as good as the homie running soil with DWC . If done right it can be knocked outta the park
I love hydro buddy program. It helped me make my feeding program. I have 4 different nutrient formulations for flower and the results are pretty crazy.
I looked at my probably 10 year old fan that I use in my seedling room and … it’s an AC INFINITY! That thing is a champ, and it’s just a chimney/ventilation fan.
Great episode. I just want to add to this that keeping your water temperature at or around 68° helps balance your nutrient.and water uptake which keeps your pH on point without fluctuations. Water level and Alot of Oxygen at the roots is also super important.
Excellent information. The explanation of the meaning of hydroponics was what grabbed my attention out the gate. I learned a long time ago hydroponics was simply any format to grow without soil. I see now the interpretation of soilless vs what some call true hydroponics, but his opinion is as mine anything without soil. The additional in depth information was fabulous. Great one Chris thanks
Great information. Thank you for sharing. As a Hydroponic grower I can say I got some good information from this episode. Thanks for covering the beneficial bacteria question and water temp!!
Awesome interview with soooo much information! Kinda takes the nerves away, and makes me want to dive in and explore and experiment with dwc...thanks Chris and Daniel!
Vertical growing in a recruiting aquaponics system useing fish poo and leds is the way to grow if you want something cheap super efficient organic and sustainable and fire quality ive put a lot of time in growing and and this is the best way I've found to grow not to mention you can eat the fish yum
Dropping knowledge so much great tips on water and runoff I grow in soil but found this to be very educational... Mr grow it killing it with the guest lineup👍
Very interesting the relation to PH with enzymes in hydro and what changes from soil, I'd love in depth coverage of these differences in part 2 to really understand soil as well and coco. and soil coco mix
I use crabmeal, corn and barley. I germinate both seeds till the root is half out. then dry them and grind them up in my coffee grinder. Instant organic fertilizer.
i tried that with barley and corn and it burn 7 of my seedlings probably put to much just started using it but ive never seen so much fungal growth before
I only use like 1 cup for a 5-gallon pot. The smaller you grind it, the faster it will work. Next time just leave the chunks a bit bigger and that would possibly give you a better experience.
Gypsum was talked about as a calcium supplement, can calcium carbonate (fine powder I use in wine making) be used the same way as gypsum? Used as a pH buffer and calcium intake for the plants.
Man I figured out that organics is the easiest way to go just make sure the plant dnt out grow the pot and start with a good living soil most of my problems are solved happy growing everyone
Ik y’all gonna kill me for doing this but I’ve been successful putting recharge in my dwc buckets had no problems these past few runs and my plants love it
Can you do a show about DE?? I'm concerned about using it before flipping, in regards to buds being affected in some way. Am I being crazy? Is it safe for flowering??
I have a question because I transplanted some plants from seedling mix to Perlite, and they are doing wonderfully well even in the heat. I lost everything in the DWC because water temps are at ambient which is around 84f-104f (this can't be helped). This had me thinking about a drip hydroponics. How would that work in the heat since the roots don't actually touch, or sit in, the water they are in an inert grow medium gaining nutrients via the drip?
@Ketchupdodge Yep, I have two plants out of 30 that survived because we went into cooler temps. Their roots took off and they grew in girth. One other is barely hanging on but everything else was gone. Sad because just one week earlier more were alive. I have learned that to grow hydro do not do it from June to Sept. For the potting mix everything I put in it dies, and/or has no real roots. Even my catnip is near death in potting mix, and that stuff is hard to kill.
Tbh.. growing dwc is controversial. Everyone has different ways and methods.. genetics plays a great part too. Bennies most definitely plays a crucial part in growing.. hypochlorus acid works also but I’ve only successfully used it once. I’ve gotten root rot with a chiller and hypochlorus acid. Once I started using great white and king crab root rot has been a thing of the past..
Was just learning about Odysee and thought of your channel and those like it. Suppose to be a decentralized RUclips alternative. Got a few good chennels over that way.
This might be the TOP 5 in my book Ive got a question it going to be strange craft blend from BAS very little amount of it in a 5 gallon bucket in krecky method is it possible?
Great tip.. get rid of the 5 gallon and get a 13.. once u flower in 5 gallons your plant will drink almost 2 gallons a day leaving you with 2 gallons left from 4 gallons of water 🫡
hey my friend I'm a huge fan, love the videos ,great knowledge and wisdom which im here asking for your help, I have a growing tent 5 x 5(60"x60"x80")with a 6 Inch 440 CFM with a 6 Inch Carbon Filter and it's sucking too much air out of my growing tent, what can I do to fix this issue ? or what would be a good Carbon Filter for my growing tent ? NEED HELP
im 8 weeks into the kratkey method and im shocked with the results i wish i could share a video of the plants i have growing i poured water in a bucket i was trimming a plant so i cut a bunch of cuttings that i was going tpo give away but never got around to doing anything with them i pretty much forgot about them they are now budding lmao i shit you not colas like pop cans i have no clue how
Basicly hydro is for control freaks... and requires alot of attention to water ph NPK levels, enviroment, lighting, temps humidity and a lot of flushing. Deep water culture is the cheapest to configure... but you must have an easy way to remove water that builds up with salt and easily replace fresh water with fresh food. My first attemps not counting dry trim I yielded 1.5 pounds of dry flower ranging from baggable buds to small lower buds and trim to make hash with. Using a 2x4x6' tall tent...300w mars bar light. Min = PH tool, parts per million meter, a bucket with drain plug + large air stone.. air pump and a catch tray.. a 6 gal+ wet vac to suck up drain water from catch tray... an airated reservoir for nutriants... to refill buckets a good light with dimmer. = bare bones setup 💪😎✌ Calmag with quality food is a big deal so is a flush agent... like bushdoctor
for the question about the organic in hydro: look for biobizz, i have used in my first grow and love it, its more expensive than jacks 321 for sure, but cheaper than advanced though
Thanks to Daniel Fernandez for coming onto the podcast today!

THANK YOU FOR THIS HYDRO PROGRAM
Thx for your contribution to the community, Chris. I'm growing DWC for the first time myself, so this is great, timely advise. I appreciate the scientific information. I will be studying Daniel's videos extensively.
Science based information is the way
Mr. Grow it you out did yourself with this. This is absolute gold thank you so much, for all the knowledge you spread!!
Agree.
I do the same thing as your buddy with the 5 gal bucket, net pot, and air stone. Plants grow super fast and very easy to maintain
Chris, you ask the best questions. I just had to say
Between Daniel and Bruce, we are incredibly lucky as a community!!
Been waiting for this video awhile now I appreciate you taking us hydro growers into consideration. I've grown flower just as good as the homie running soil with DWC . If done right it can be knocked outta the park
I've been growing in soil and I learned a lot from this conversation. Thanks so much for bringing it to us.
That was incredibly informative! Amazing podcast Chris, kudos. I hope to Mr Fernandez on again in the future!
Gems gems gems and more gems dropped on this episode 🔥🔥🔥... wouldn't mind a part 2
Daniel is a weath of knowledge. Great job of extracting concice tidbits of information. Will help out a lit of growers ❤
Have a great weekend Chris..
Thanks! You too! 🌱
I love hydro buddy program. It helped me make my feeding program. I have 4 different nutrient formulations for flower and the results are pretty crazy.
💚👍very interesting stuff right there. Great information again. Keep them coming!Thank you. ✌
Really like what Daniel is putting out here, great discussion.👍

AWESOME SHOW MR. GROWIT...I'LL BE REWATCHING THIS EPISODE UNTIL I CAN GRASP ALL OF THE CHEMISTRY INFO PROVIDED 👍🏾💚👊🏾🙏🏿
PURE GOLD! Thank you again Mr Growit
what a great episode. He explained things as simple as possible… Thank you.
Excellent information. The explanation of the meaning of hydroponics was what grabbed my attention out the gate. I learned a long time ago hydroponics was simply any format to grow without soil. Running this method at the moment to further better my self at my hobby.
Killer episode. So many good points.
I grow in soil, but recently built an aeroponic cloner so this came at just the right time!Thank you guys👍🌱✌️
Great information. Thank you for sharing. As a Hydroponic grower I can say I got some good information from this episode. Thanks for covering the beneficial bacteria question and water temp!!
Another great episode. Very interesting guest with some top notch info. 👍🤙💯
Thanks Daniel/ Mr Grow it.lots of knowledge as usual
I got your book bro. very nice. I have my first grow ever going and completely successful.
This one was amazing! Excellent information! Thank you!
Awesome interview with soooo much information! Kinda takes the nerves away, and makes me want to dive in and explore and experiment with dwc...thanks Chris and Daniel!
Best interviewer in the game
yes finally ive been asking for this

Awesome episode, I've been subbed to Science in Hydroponics because I'm interested in hydroponics but I haven't tried yet.
Dropping knowledge so much great tips on water and runoff I grow in soil but found this to be very educational... Mr grow it killing it with the guest lineup👍
What a wealth of knowledge you guys tysm!!!
What a great video!
So Mr.Growit did you just sneak us one of your course classes? So much great information in this episode, thank you

Organic all day long 💚
Below 65? Ohh! Granddaddy Purple!
Water temp 72 for indica. 74 ,75 for Sativa is what I think. However any of those temps will work just watch for jelly .
Bro-science at its finest 😂

@@7munkee thanks bro! I'll try that next time.I did grind it really fine almost like powder
Gypsum was talked about as a calcium supplement, can calcium carbonate (fine powder I use in wine making) be used the same way as gypsum? Used as a pH buffer and calcium intake for the plants.
Great episode 👍🏾
When I have enough money it’d be cool to grow indoors. Mean while growing in coco pots outside. They’re coming along.
Man I figured out that organics is the easiest way to go just make sure the plant dnt out grow the pot and start with a good living soil most of my problems are solved happy growing everyone
Pot??...why??🤣
Chris aka Mr.Grow It, is there a grow tent environment controller or controllers that you are partial to?
Ik y’all gonna kill me for doing this but I’ve been successful putting recharge in my dwc buckets had no problems these past few runs and my plants love it
LIES🤣.. ..AAAALL LIES
@@johnman559 probably for u but not for me I use 1-2 tsp and be good until my next change
Can you do a show about DE?? I'm concerned about using it before flipping, in regards to buds being affected in some way. Am I being crazy? Is it safe for flowering??
Does DE work for spider mites? It should,...but idk. 🤷

What was the name of the company he said did hydro nutrients organically? Agri what...?
Did you ever figure it out?

Just use washed pea gravel and pump solution in twice a day. Fill and drain. simple. An toiler can be used just flush twice a day.
Hey ho LETS GO ❤️💚💛

I'd say just don't put anything in the reservoir that bubbles. Like PowerSi, that shit will nuke your roots.
One day when its legal to grow in here in denmark🍀🍀🍀🙏🙏
Maxibloom is mad cheap 🤘😎

Mr. Grow It hacked my recent RUclips history!
Did you ever flip a clone in to flower with out roots
Is that Robert Whitaker?
Holly shit 69 looks really diffrernt here
Never had ph instability with maxibloom 🤷♂️
Oh nvm I thought you were a UFC fighter Chris.
First!😃...... I mean... 7th !
Kracky don't work with weed
I can't grow a quality product in soil. I only grow in hydroponics.
Man !
I find it odd, that people grow indoors w/ dirt....i dont see any benefit...
Big scale hydro system is not sustainable and wasteful, you can argue otherwise with a home grow for the small scale.
Literally the opposite is true 🤡
for the question about the organic in hydro: look for biobizz, i have used in my first grow and love it, its more expensive than jacks 321 for sure, but cheaper than advanced though
