I use a handfull dried petals and add 3pints of boiling water (1 pnt at a time) and strain into a large jug. By the third pint tne tea will be quite weak. Then add 2 large spoons of honey to taste. I then allow to cool and place in fridge and serve with ice😋 Deeelish!!
@@sindhuk1089 it mainly helps in weight loss, I'm drinking this for the past 6 months and I feel freshened and active. I had a lot of pimples and dry skin but after I started drinking this it really helped me clear all my pimples. So, it makes your skin glow.
Hibiscus tea helps lower blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and blood pressure. It may reduce inflammation, help to manage weight, and act against microbial infections. In addition, it may act as an antioxidant and reduce cancer risk.
@@n0426 first take the hibiscus petals and sun dry them atleast for three days...the crush them and brew them in hot water...the way its done in video ...petals are absorbing water and not giving anything apart from its colour
For the dried leaves I would boil for 5 mins to blend in with added raw ginger, turmeric, garlic( though optional)& tea leaves (optional though this is my breakfast drink instead of plainblack tea) Lemon juice & mint leaves if you have. For fresh leaves best to add hot boiled water to retain max nutrients ☺️
I squeeze lemon juice with hibiscus flowers only and put the lemon to water only to boil along with lemon tree fresh leaves. Thats so much refreshing

Don't add heat temperature water or tea to honey .
Generally people use sabdariffa hibiscus for tea, and they dont use the petals. Thats interesting, ive never seen it made this way.
I never added honey, lemon or anything. It gave me good results.
