This brought me waaaay more comfort than should be possible. When I'm in hospital all I ever want to do is go home. But I always feel so safe and at ease there
Love this sound❤ I called off work with this sound in the background and got a week off meanwhile living my best life AB’s they paid me for this days 😂 thank you!!!
I spent most of my time out of the hospital but I went there often for appointments And went to the emergency room and inpatient mental hospital and recovery room before
I'm preparing for med school and I procrastinate ALOT. This ambience just boosted my will to study, and I finished an important topic today! Thank you so much 😊
I love this atmosphere, and unlike most of the people here, I actually kinda find this comforting after the memories of being in a hospital. I love how the different videos of ambience sound a little different each time. :)
@@evanandfriends1938 I guess hahaha. But I haven't been hospitalized myself, just had to stay with my mom while she was. Oh, and 8 of the times I've been there, it was to visit a new sibling.
I have spina bifida and acute chronic pancreatitis, and have had 80+ surgeries before I was 35. I am the most comfortable in a hospital to the point that it's my happy place in my mind. I normally sleep with rain noise or brown noise, but I had trouble sleeping for about a week. Just dawned on me one night to search for ambient hospital sounds, I've been falling asleep much faster now. My only issue is that I much prefer the videos that have people talking like this one, but sometimes I wake up startled because my brain suddenly believes someone is in the bedroom. 🤣
I was in the hospital several times over the past year. They always got my symptoms under control immediately and made sure I was comfortable while we treated the deeper issue. I’ve got a bit of a fever right now, and playing this is honestly relaxing me - that is when my dogs aren’t barking like raging maniacs! Lol Thank you!
I accompanied my grandfather for two months in the hospital before he passed away. Yes, there were sad moments, but the atmosphere in the hospital made me feel reassured and warm, After 3 years have passed, I can still smell the Dettol and detergents there, I was walking through the long corridors of the hospital in the middle of the night in the middle of the silence and stillness, I felt the cool breeze entering from the windows giving me those goosebumps, I can't say it's good or even bad memories, it's just an important experience in my life.
I was lucky to have no ill health as a child. I never wanted attention & never wanted to bother my parents. I'm from a big family & like to fade into the background. I hate compliments or attention. In my latter years ive had procedures & the sense of release in being incapacitated and cared for is alien to me. Really it's concentrating on physical pain rather than my thoughts plus sedatives where i disappear from the world- just gone. I get a break from myself. Heaven. I like hospital.
My brother jokingly said him and my mother were taking me out of the will since I got covid. I think I am gonna call him with this in the background and tell him I was admitted.
Ahh, nothing contains more self-contained misery than the smell of sanitized air, mixed with alcoholic hand sanitizer, rubber, cheap burnt coffee, and rooms that are either perpetually 100 degrees or 30 degrees.
I have been to the ER 4 times (first 3 times were for a sprained ankle) and I always went to a not busy ER in and out but the other day I went to a different ER and was there for several hours being treated and it was quite relaxing and (entertaining) and listening to these videos before that last ER visit I’m like, “no way the hospital is this noisy” and I was so wrong 😂 this is actually quiet compared to what it’s like.
Man. This brings me back to all my leg surgeries. All 4-5 of them. My first one, i had to stay for 2 weeks due to it being very painful for me. The others was a breeze. No im not scared of hospitals as i know they do good.
I remember the time when I had a surgery and I was taken down with anesthesia. I was 12 years old and really enjoyed it. Being able to sleep in an instant and feeling confused when waking up. Now I feel confused all the time. I want to be sedated every waking second.
I never liked going to the hospital the feeling of me even being there gave me anxiety. My mom has this thing. Idk what’s it’s called but sometimes she’ll have to go to the hospital for some nights and it always scared me seeing her go. I Also have to go sometimes. I have thing bump on my fore head that’s bin there forever idk how it got here. Sometimes my mom will have to take me in to make sure it isn’t growing. But somehow this sound is quite comforting
@@TheTreehouseRadiowow thank u soo much i really appreciate that!! I will try it again and see if its better. I have cancer and i spend alot of my time at seattle cancer care and honestly I've become accustomed to the noises in the background to fall asleep, so when its really quiet at home its honestly too quiet and i cant for the life of me get much sleep without the noise anymore it's crazy I used to hate it and it used to keep me up at night when i am on their radiation unit and now I have become so used to it that without its too hard to fall asleep. 🤔🤷♀️😴👩⚕️🏥🛏
The health service in the UK is absolutely atrocious and patients are so often left abandoned with no bed or blanket when sick at hospital. After years of incompetence when trying to help with my reoccurring gastritis, I’ve started handling it myself with a change in diet and over the counter medication, and I always put these sounds on while I’m in bed healing. It’s not ideal, but it helps me at least imagine I’m in a world where I feel cared for by the system…
Why is mother crying? Not just a drop or two Rolling down from her clear eyes, no, But instead, she’s bent forward Crouching on the starkly, clean floor Crying with such force It’s like she’s trying to empty the water inside her body Why is father upset? Not just a flash of irritation Welled up in his broad chest, no But instead, he’s standing perfectly still Almost choking from his rage Smoldering with fume pulsing through his veins Its like his blood had turned into lava that is melting Who is the cause of her tears? Who is the target of his anger? Is it me? Did I do something bad? What is going on? Where is uncle? Wasn’t I with him, for our weekly play date? So why am I here? Currently listening to this to get me into the right headspace as I write a scene in a hospital. As I have never been in a hospital this really helps!
Good luck with your writing!
Am I the only one that finds hospital sounds relaxing? A specially when one feels sick and try to sleep during the day

It's a rare thing for me to go to hospital. But somehow i got addicted to this. It's soooo relaxing
I’ve been hospitalised for a month and a half and I can’t sleep without those background noises now
That's too bad, but I'm glad this is helping!
Can't tell u how many times this video helped me with fooling people thinking im in the hospital
I called in sick. Said I was at the hospital. Played this in the background.
Thanks for this as I just spent 3 months in the hospital and had trouble sleeping as it was TOO quiet for me to snooze!
