Dogs may be the most famously sound-sensitive animals, but cats, rodents, and even some birds will recoil from high-frequency sounds, too.
Also, fun fact from someone whose aunt works with birds for a living: Macaws are a very specific sub-group of parrot, mostly distinguished by their sheer size, longer lifespans, and the interesting fact that unlike most non-raptor birds, the upper half of their faces don't have feathers on them. Molly in particular (or at least her cute cartoony mascot version) appears to be based on the Catalina Macaw judging by the color patterns on her head and wings.

*Once upon a time in the quiet suburban town of Arcadia, there lived a young girl named ForeverNeena, known in the gaming world as "8-bit Neena." She was renowned for her stellar gaming skills, particularly in horror games. With countless speedrun world records under her belt, including the most horror games played in a day and the most games completed without getting jumpscared, she was a sensation in the gaming community. Neena's room was a gamer's haven, adorned with posters of her favorite titles and a powerful gaming PC that could handle any virtual challenge thrown her way. One summer evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Neena's parents announced that they were leaving for a week-long vacation. Her mother and father were excited about their adventure, but Neena, being the dedicated gamer that she was, decided to stay home and continue her conquest of the virtual world. It was a decision she would soon come to regret. With her parents' departure, Neena settled into a routine of intense gaming. She lost track of time as she skillfully navigated through dark corridors, escaped terrifying monsters, and solved intricate puzzles. Her digital victories were flawless, and she reveled in the praise of her online followers. As the clock struck midnight, Neena heard an eerie creaking sound emanating from downstairs. Neena's blood ran cold as she realized someone knew she was home alone. "Who are you?" she stammered. The voice continued, "You may not know me, but I know you, 8-bit Neena. And I have a message for you." Fear gripped Neena, and she demanded answers. "What do you want?" The voice laughed malevolently. "I want to play a game, Neena. A game of life and death." Suddenly, Neena heard a noise behind her and spun around. In the doorway stood a figure cloaked in darkness, brandishing a gleaming knife. Panic surged through her as she realized the intruder was inside her house. Neena bolted toward the back door, desperately searching for an escape. She knew she had to get out of the house and call for help. But as she reached for the handle, it wouldn't budge. The intruder was closing in. The menacing voice taunted her, "You can't run, Neena. I'm already here." With no other option, Neena dashed back upstairs to her room and barricaded the door. She grabbed her phone and dialed 911, her hands trembling as she recounted the chilling events. The operator assured her that help was on the way, but the minutes dragged on like hours as she awaited their arrival. As Neena huddled in her room, she received another call from her parents. They had decided to check in on her and were just minutes away from home. Panic gripped her again as she realized the danger they were unknowingly walking into. The police arrived just in time to intercept the intruder, who had been lurking in the shadows of Neena's house. It turned out that the mysterious caller was a notorious serial killer who had been targeting Neena's family. The police arrested the intruder, and Neena's parents returned home, shaken but unharmed. In the aftermath of that harrowing night, Neena realized that not all challenges could be conquered with gaming skills alone. The experience taught her the value of real-life instincts and the importance of family and safety. While her gaming records were impressive, it was the night she faced a real-life horror that truly defined her. From that day forward, 8-bit Neena continued to excel in the virtual world, but she never forgot the night a killer had come knocking at her door. And she was determined to use her fame and skills to raise awareness about safety and security, both in the gaming world and the real world* .

53:00 I really hope you see this: Right after Mollie's death, you hear Rambley say sadly: "the mascots are..." and then he cuts off his own sentence. I think he knows what happened to the mascots. And notice how he says "She's always been my best friend"? It's in past tense. So maybe he means that they once were best friends, but because they turned evil (because of Salem????) not anymore, so that might be why he doesn't say anything about it. I'm not saying it's true, but it's a theory. Who knows, it might be true 🤷♀
Actually, that's a present perfect tense. It tells us about Mollie and Rambley's relationship in the past, up to *and including* the present. The past-tense counterpart to that sentence would be "She always *was* my best friend."

Point is, the way Rambley talks about her, I'm sure he still considers her a dear friend. Plus, the recording he digs up regarding the costume head mentions the mascots were, at one point, "the *new* ones," which may indicate that the mascots _themselves_ are replaceable entities, distinct from the "friends" they represent. But whether Rambley's friends manifest "in real life" somewhere in some other, uncorrupted form remains to be seen.

My theory is that Rambley hurts/abuses/tried to do something BAD to Lloyd, this is because at 15:04, she says “HE HURTS LLOYD, he hurts Lloyd..! He hurts-“ and gets cut off (by death). I think the reason they have beef is because Lloyd either escaped from Rambley, or ratted him out to the staff. I think in chapter two, we might catch Rambley (not in TV) hurting Lloyd (or trying to) Or maybe Rambley turns on us AFTER we try to help him fix the park. He might’ve told us that as a fake story, and he might be trying to get full access to the park, or something like that. Or, maybe he’s actually nice, and Molly Macaw might have been talking about someone else hurting Lloyd, WHO KNOWS?? :D I’m so excited to watch you play chapter two when it comes out!!
