@19:06: I could be wrong, but I thiiiiink you could have sacced Atsushi, make 3 treasures, spend a treasure to ephemerate Serra's Emmisary and then give your board pro-sorceries to fizzle the Blasphemous Act. Could be wrong but I think that checks out.
@@CommanderReplay Hey, I've done it countless times myself! I know that was a skin-of-your-teeth win, but I've been thoroughly enjoying Ravengard since I built him. Removal against him sucks, as you saw, but man, the value he gives you makes it worth it. ETBs, death triggers, or just good ol' fashion beats, he makes a difference when he's out. I do wish he was even just 1 mana cheaper, but I can see how they decided to play it safe and avoid a Winota situation.
3:00 -- yeah, I face similar circumstances in my Gideon deck. While the deck won't not go first (having a 1-mana commander helps), being the starting player is quite painful for monowhite. 9:45 -- Given the need for card draw and multiple forms of removal, giving Atsushi myriad might've been decent. Then again, new cards, and heat of the moment. 32:40 -- Great game to watch! Living through that turn was :D:D:D. Also, the Archon trigger never went on stack because it's target opponent, meaning there were no legal targets.
Duke seems alright but Liara Portyr seems absolutely insane. I know you'll be building that one You've got another foretell card in Delayed Blast Fireball!
I think it just depends on your group. Unless you really have a lot of seven dwarves on the table, in general youd get better value by copying something else. But if you skip cards like inferno titan and really focus in on seven dwarves anything is possible and might produce surprising results.
Just a hint for Atsushi's name: The TSU is pronounced kind of like a sharp hiss. Like TSST! with u - sounds like glue - on the end. That one's pretty difficult to pronounce. :)
I'm on gonna lie, it kinda annoys me when you miss pronounce Atsushi. You always say A-tooshee. But it's At Sushi. It just sounds like you're referring to a butt every time you say A-tooshee

Yes sundial does work with myraid, just that you lose your second main.
