This elevator is in amazing condition being 95 yrs old working smoothly, stops smooth on the landing. It has been well maintained for over 9 decades. The controller looks to be in good shape, just a bit of arching on the one contractor. Most likely the Up/Down contractors are reserve phase relays. 240V 3 Phase was common with older relay controllers and traction machines. Build to last.
