“You saw what those two idiots did on prime time.”
Im sorry Tom! We tried to play badly so Eberflus would be fired but the Passtronaut forgot what team he was on and out failed us 😭
As a bears fan out of the four wins... That felt like the least deserving one
@@shadow_td yeah.. i even chose to do homework instead, and Im a senior in college… the senioritis should have already hit by then 😭
@@sarbear650 our oc definitely needs to be fire he's the definition of madden nfl game.for android
@@shadow_td oh definitely
The passtronaut forgot he's a mobile qb and was allowed to run...
Dude really turned the NFL into a whole-ass cinematic universe, and I am HERE FOR IT!!
NCU > MCU
I really hate the proliferation of this term to refer to anything with a continuity.
Hes gonna be somebody...
TOTAL FOR IT!
Whole-ass?
Vince: "And what are you afraid of?"
Blood Demon: "Vampires."
Okay you win the internet today.😂
He’s afraid of the lions winning the SB. He had a deal with Bobby lane.
Tom are you sure you don’t want to go into scriptwriting or something? Some of these lines are bangers. “You broke this family. Because YOU are broken. You have earned everything that has happened to you.” Hot DAMN! 🔥
As a Lions fan, I have been dreading this since the first quarter of Thanksgiving.
Hey man as a Packers fan I’ve been dreading these for 2 months😂 don’t worry, y’all r gonna be dawgs for the next 5 years at least. Lions run the division (and hopefully packers make some great competition soon!)
@@WaySheGoes12you don’t understand the history of this franchise if you don’t understand our dread at 8-3. What if we are frauds, what if we get screwed again in the play offs like in 2015? What if goff gets hurt? Can the defense still make plays without anzalone? The ptsd is so real.
@@alvatrousI've been a fan of the Lions since the famous 1991 season. You gotta stop being afraid of failure. Even the best teams go through rough times in a season. I believe this team will rebound this sunday
@@alvatrous yeah. That will probably happen, you are ‘frauds’ yes. Just like my Packers have been for the last 10 years, yet they were still a successful and good team (same can be w/ u). Just the fact you’re being called a ‘pretender’ means you’re a good team. You guys have not been able to consistently reach the playoffs and you will finally be able to in these coming years. Now you guys have REAL expectations. Lions will be in the playoffs year in and year out for a while looking forward.
@@alvatrousyou cant be so afraid of what ifs man you can say that about any team just sit back and enjoy the season
Still waiting for the reveal on how Steve got from "But I hate my neighbors!" to "We have to take the neighbors!".
I think I speak for everyone when I say THE LORE IS INSANE! I swear every event has been perfectly planned out in advance it’s like the NFL is following Tom’s script!
Well, Tom IS the scriptwriter!
Or Tom is following theirs...
As a Bengals fan I do not like this plan.
The black and white scene adds so much more depth, uneasiness, a definite creepy vibe, and an early horror movie feel to it. Bravo Tom Bravo.
though the uniforms all look the same color. With the actors faces being so similar I have to go by the uni numbers sometimes.
Like the original Twin Peaks
@@danbsports6760What? I don't think the actors look alike at all. 😉
I know its been said before but I love how different the vibes are for the NFC vs AFC.
Also hang in there Bengals fans 🧡
As a Vikings fan I don’t want to watch but as a fan of this series I must put on a brave face.
Charles is helping me get through the season, as a Bears fan.
Same friend... SAME
You have NO IDEA what the plan to humiliate you for THIS ATROCITY on Monday night IS

What started as a running gag for a Steelers fan in 2019 has turned into a supernatural thriller. All the respect.
Im not going to lie man, the writing with these, just being about football teams, its deep amd hard hitting man.
As a browns fan this character development between the AFC north is WILD
I would say "it's perfect ".
Go Broncos!
An inside kick, a hurt left tackle, a blocked punt. Tears of Cheese ...
same 😢🧀
I like how this went from “oh NoOOoO we LoSt” to a full blown drama thriller
okay why is this better than most netlfix shows? amazing work tom
Hi Tom I discovered this channel recently (a few months ago) when is was week 2-3 of this series and I'm loving it. I'm always looking forward to your NFC/AFC reactions, weekly script writes, and this series. It's like actually good T.V that you never see anymore.
I really like this series. I love that you're doing this and I like that the videos are getting longer. Thank you for all the hard work you put in and doing this for us. We really appreciate you.
Hey, Tom, as a Steelers fan, don’t threaten my boy Steve like that, he’s a good man. A bit of a loon, but we all be like that.
Sincerely,
My Heart Can’t Take Losing My Boy
So, Ref is an eldritch monster given to Vince as part of the Blood Demon's contract to ensure his position at the top for an unnaturally long time.
Yeah, that checks out.
Theory: Desire ruined Vince’s family so maybe his grandpa summoned the blood demon to win SB 1 and 2. Then Vince’s father made a deal for the SB in the Favre era.
Generational curse, I like that theory
DANG IT TOM YOU'RE MAKING ME CRY OVER A BENGALS FAN
--- A Steelers fan
Character development in these are top notch. Also the plot line grows every week based on the actual outcomes of the games. What a great thing you've created here. Good job man! I watch every week! Keep it up!
"he will pay for it"
damn it, i knew this wouldn't end well for otto as soon as we saw his first meeting with ref
i am not ready for what the blood demon might do to him
well practically every good player we have is hurt so
Yeah I think he already did his vengeance by taking out some of the Browns’s key players
Dear Charles,
Vince won, Jerry won, Gus won, and we lost. Simply put, thank you for literally SAVING my Thanksgiving week from being a complete disaster.
Sincerely,
Lionel (and fans)
Youre welcome,
Also thank you Lionel for taking the seat in the office and it not being Vince for a change.
Sincerely,
Charles (and all Bears fans)
We got you
still relatively new, which ones are Jerry and Gus?
@@OmniGSagejerry is the 49ers fan, gus is the cowboys fan
@@OmniGSagejerry is 49ers (west Saga) and gus is the cowboys (east Saga)
I really hope at the end of the season we get a supercut between Lionel and Vince throughout the season. This is an Oscar-worthy performance.
Lions fan here: This is a masterpiece. Always is.
I discovered this channel a couple weeks ago through the NFL Scripted videos.. I found this North Saga and got intrigued so I just spent over a week binging the entire Coach and NFC/AFC saga series and it's incredible! I am so happy I've watched all of that before seeing this episode! Holy crap is this SO good! I can't wait to see where this all goes!!
and btw Tom deserves WAY more subscribers than he has!
Tom your writing is literally the best. The lore in this episode was insane
Love the Lionel villain arc 😂 incredible video as always Tom loved the whole 20 minutes! Vince's parts are especially amazing!
"We gained our independence from Canada." Sounds more like a hockey quote.
The creativity, and dedication put into something that changes from week to week yet make it feel like he's actually got this all planned out is seriously insane. How a one man show gets me this invested is just blowing my mind!
As a Browns fan, watching "QB Who Shall Not Be Named" hurt, DTR hurt, Chubb hurt, Amari hurt, DTR on concussion protocol, PJ Walker SOMEHOW being in the NFL, Denzel Ward having his fifth concussion...I'd say the Blood Demon is wreaking havoc. And for the most karma inducing trade ever...we've earned it. FLY FLACCO, FLY! Wait...wrong team?
Hilarious that Blood Demon is out here teasing Vince for his relationship with Ref, while being 100% in love with Steve. A creature with no self awareness.
I got so excited to see it was a 20 minute video. Absolutely amazing story telling and acting Tom. As always can’t wait to see how this continues. I’m gonna be sad when the season end and the saga is over cause I never want this soap opera to end.
Oh and also F you Vince.
I have a theory. May not necessarily be good, but the blood demon is afraid of depression/wrath coming back, which is afflicting Timmy. I think we'll see a face off between wrath and the blood demon soon enough? Ed's search for Jeannine may also be a pursuit for love.
I feel like the blood demon fears Joe Burrow and what he will do the his beloved Steelers for the next 6-8 years. Thats why it flashed to Timmy when it was talking about fear.
@@Mylawn look behind Timmy in that shot... that ain't joe burrow.
This is so deep and I have no idea what is going on but I love it. Keep up the good work Tom
I want to see a skit where Genine answers the phone
That's up to the script writer, ref &, of course, the blood demon. Don't think the moon has an effect on the Ravens though, or maybe it will...
Same!
I think that only happens if the Ravens win the Super Bowl. Or maybe if they lose it and Genine feels sorry about that.
This episode is amazing. Tons of answered in Saga questions while tying into the greater GCU. Might be my favorite episode in all of Coach/Sagas.
What im hearing is that
In order for Vince to get to Steve he had to get to Otto and to get to Otto he used "it" and to get "it" Vince used the Blood Demon and to use the Blood Demon Vince used Rituals soooooo Vince used ALL OF HIS GLORIES....to get to Steve
I thought i was invested in the Captains' storyline. This has me at a whole nother level! I busted out with a "Papa Cacaw!" in the middle of the store the other day! Did a flapflap dance and everything!!!
The AFC North is now being drawn into the drama since they moved in, & all the darkness that comes with it. Look what it's done to Papa Cawcaw & Timmy...
Acting and writing are both superb!
I don't watch shows or movies anymore, just sports and Tom Grossi. I don't miss it at all.
All I ever watch on TV any more is football. Last movie I saw in theaters was the last Ghostbusters. Can't remember the last one I saw at home. I do have a lot of YT subscriptions, tho. Grossi tops that list.
This is my first season following this saga, and I was doing ok in weeks 1-4. But, now, I'm kind of lost in what's going on. Still love the facial expression and the dark humor though.
I’m having the same problem. What is “it”?
It is an entire lore you have to watch the east, west, south sagas, and coach to understand.
@@cindifitzgerald9693it is the ref
@@cindifitzgerald9693
Ref is the “it.” It was created as part of a bargain Vince made with the Blood Demon to dominate the NFC North division.
@@presde34Just started watching this season, and holy balls I have catching up to do.
I love this series so much.
This was fantastic. I wonder, just how much do you have written in advance vs the back and forth that happens during the season?
I can only imagine during the outside scene that his neighbors were wondering why he's talking to an empty porch😂
Jordan Love has RBF every game because he is trying to figure out what will be in the next episode of As the North Turns.
I truly cant wait to see how wild things get the last three weeks of the season when the Vikings play the Lions, Packers, Lions and then the Bears and Packers also play each other for the last game, too.
Now that the stakes are real, the comedy part of the saga is over, the drama must commence. Wrath is breathing down the neck of the North Saga, and I'm all here for it.
I been waiting for this since Thanksgiving. Keep up the good work Tom. Oh yeah GO 49ers. This Sunday. Send a prayer my way lol
The LORE in this series! I'm going back and watching all the older ones trying to figure it out. Tom, you are an expert in the art story smithing!
Great video! I enjoyed watching!
20min lore dump in a 2 day turnaround...that's insane
AMAZING EPISODE TOM!!
HOLY SHIT I CANT WAIT UNTIL I UNDERATAND THE LORE BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOING ON BUT I FUCKING LOVE IT.
Great Work Tom!
As a Packers fan, I have been waiting for this video since halftime of the Thanksgiving game. We did it Tom. We got extra cheesy and won 🤣🎉!
This was most definitely worth the wait. As always, thank you, Tom. And Go Pack Go!
Crazy how this gets better and better each week. I was wondering how you were gonna top last week’s episode but the lore, development, and tension in this one might’ve succeeded. What a masterpiece.
The Edger Allen Poe thrown in their got me cackling!
I love these AFC north videos, it's entertaining and fun
Things are getting GOOD. Superb work as always Tom.
There's a video on Tom's channel of a stream where he explains the basis of the lore.
The rest of the background is easier learned from watching the first 2 seasons
@@PSkyukido I am 100% caught up at the moment. Just enjoying where this is going.
In the words of Towely, "I have no idea what's going on"
But that was great.
Gotdamn, brother.
This all started out amusing, now it's engrossing and I'm always looking forward to these.
This is good television. Great skits man. Keep up the good work.
Holy shit Tommy outdid himself here. Thanks for all the hard work bud.
I can't believe how hard you work! Well done brother! Another quality vid!
I was looking forward to this series😂
This has been amazing. I just got into Grossi this season and now I see there's a few years worth of this drama to catch up on.... shit. There goes a weekend.
I can't get enough of tom grossi
I’ve been waiting all week for this
Love the content and your enthusiasm! As a Lions fan, I just learned that our game with the Broncos got flexed to the Saturday night game. Perna is probably throbbing right now!
My OCD is triggered by both Lional and Vince looking up at each other at the same time the whole conversation. 😂
Okay Grossi, you've done it and "broken me in a positive way" so that I, as a purple hearted man, will keep my fingers crossed for the Packers and even bet on the Packers in our betting game because I've simply taken these NFC North characters so close to my heart and just wants to see the North on the throne in the end. Thank you for this wonderful epic. Purple greetings from Karlsruhe, Germany.💜
The last episode was really heavy, but this one is dark and creepy. The demon saying that he'd tear Ref apart, "atom by atom," sent a shiver through me. I'm hooked on all of Tom's videos. They've been better than some of the games.
Wow!!!!!!! You aren't just packers fan of the year, you are the NFL fan of the year! Bravo! I can't wait for the next episode! I'm on the edge of my seat!!!
Thankfully my boss let me stop work to watch this. Been eagerly waiting for this video since Thursday.
love the dramatic turn, Tom!
It's weird, I'm happy my Bears brought the Vikings and the Passtronaut back down to Earth, but I'm also upset the front office may have thought that was a good game, or that was how we got a win.
This really hits my Lynchian nerve. Thanks, it likes to be ticked from time to time.
Was a real treat to wake up for this.
Awesome stuff, appreciate the effort you put in the lore. :)
Tom is dropping subtle Lost in Space references on us now! Dr. Smith would be proud!
The fact that the NFC and AFC have been so crazy this year only adds to the humor and drama.
As a Steelers fan, I just get such warm and fuzzy feelings over how much the Blood Demon cares about Steve. There's a sentence I never imagined myself saying.
Once you understand the relationship between Steve and the Blood Demon, all of a sudden the Steelers of the past 15 years make sense...
Still waiting for the past divisions to be incorporated before the end... the suspense is incredible.
0:28 The worst part of it is is that most of those picks in that game weren't even Dobbs fault AT ALL, but instead caused by fluky tip-offs and some piss poor catching by his receivers. 🤷♂
How. Does this keep getting better? Like next week cannot come fast enough
I friggin frackin love this series!
Amazing writing, superb worldbuilding, just all around amazing. As a newcomer, I just have a few questions I'd like answered.
1. What is the "It" that the Packers keep referring too?
2. Why is the Blood Demon afraid of Tim?
3. What is the whole thing regarding "suits" in the NFC North
Thanks to those who answer.
1. The Blood Demon refers to "it". The Packers refer to "him". Pretty sure they're talking about the referee (Ref)
2. The Blood Demon isn't afraid of Tim, it's afraid of the horned figure whose silhouette you see move behind the curtains, outside.
3. Suits in and NFC North are like crowns. They signify who is good, who is strong, who has the right to be head of the household. A suit is the status symbol of power.
1. It refers to the 'ref' character. The blood demon made it for the packers.
2. The blood demon isn't afraid of Tim. It saw a creature behind Tim outside the window and was afraid of that.
3. The suit refers to the lead in the division. Every one has a suit there and wear it when they are leading the division or getting close to being the leader
@@BakuraEX Ey, thanks man
2. The creature in the window is Wrath
1. Ref, made by Blood Demon for Vince.
2. It's not Tim, if you look closely you can see a silhouette of a horned figure in the curtains outside. The horned figure is Wrath, who you can learn more about in Coach Season 5 but he's basically one of the main villains.
3. All of the other sagas have crowns, the NFC North Saga has suits. It's basically to show who has power in the house and is determined by how each person's corresponding team plays in the NFL.
A great lore video and tie in
So the family of the NFC North was ruined by Vince, and the creation of 'It'. And 'It' found its way to the AFC North family.
I knew it, Packers aren't to be trust it, THROW THE BOOK AND THROW THE KEY IN LAKE MICHIGAN!
(Enjoying this as a Lions Fan, pulling for Lionel)
I love your content man lol… it really keeps me entertained 😂
"We gained our independence from Canada" is a baaarr 😂😂
Also, the Steelers can't keep getting away with this!!
Last week was deep. This week went dark.

Thought it was gonna turn into a "better help" ad 😅
Chiefs fan here. This is my favorite show. I look forward to every episode.
None of us blamed the Moon, for what it’s worth. We lost focus and got beat, but that’s apparently what the doctor ordered, because now they’re ready to start winning again
none of this is based on what fans actually think, or at least the division rival fans for whom he understandably has blind spots. after all, he’s one of the characters, and those other 3 are, well… It holds together sufficiently as a story, but I don’t think he’s suggesting it’s a documentary, or at least I sure hope not 😅
what’s cool is that he can be close with the other ones that aren’t personally lifelong rivals.
then again, every fanbase os broad and diverse, with a variety of perspectives, thoughts, and opinions, so you’re never going to get it right, but just the same you can never get it wrong.
what’s most important is that it comes from listening to the fans in his audience, who then consume it as he mirrors it back to them, so it’ll always be validating to the audience, and that’s worth something.
You should write these as short novels if that sort of thing is in your wheelhouse. Maybe a graphic novel, bt it would be a bit more labor intensive. May be a good merch item.
There comes a point that I TOTALLY forget this is about football!! Riveting!
