Dude said Michigan imposed their will on OSU and dragged them into a phone booth. Not quite, Ryan Day and Kelly dragged the team into a phone booth with their moronic game plan. OSU imposed their will on themselves, the will was to play dumb and against all their strengths. So frustrating, they put this game plan against TN in the Michigan game and Michigan is cooked and OSU is likely getting a bye. I’m liking OSU in the Rose Bowl on a neutral field.
People say Alabama should’ve been in the playoffs. IMO, not over Indiana or SMU. They outranked Clemson. Regardless, Alabama didn’t show up vs Oklahoma and were beaten handily near the season’s end. That likely factored in the committee’s mind. Who would win out between Notre Dame and Penn State?
Regardless of whatever factored into the committees minds they had bama in the playoffs checking in at #11 and Clemson out at #16 the only reason Clemson made the playoffs is they got a automatic bid by winning the ACC which the committee has no control over.
So I feel like y'all definitely mentioned Indiana and SMU getting drummed and the conversation being about how they may not have deserved to be there. Why is that same argument not being made about Tennessee? Tennessee got drummed, and you can make all your arguments you want about Ole Miss, Alabama, or Miami being more deserving, etc. All home teams won their playoff games, but Indiana and SMU are getting the most shade from yall.
That’s because SMU and Indiana suck. They both had very weak schedules. They should’ve never been in the playoffs. And if the committee wasn’t committed to being woke they would not have been.
Who's talking about Oregon? Y'all are no different than Tennessee fans. Zero history of achievement but always chirping like you've been relevant for decades. Yeah, great year THIS year, but what's your history when it's all in the line?
Terrible first round of games. Boring blowouts with a number of teams that shouldn't have been in the mix. I understand why the committee wanted to make this first go around about inclusion since that was the idea of the whole thing. But the seeding decisions based far more on conference championships than strength of schedule are hurting credibility. Oregon has a wildly unfair path as an undefeated team while Penn St. is essentially playing low life teams from crappy conferences. It's wrong and everybody gets that it's wrong.
Texas needs to be able to do something in the 3rd quarter. Thats their weakness, even going back to last year. They start got for the first 2 quarters, let their foot off the gas in the 3rd, then have to gold off a come back from a team that now has all the momentum. Its almost like they play 3 quarters a game instead of 4. They can compete with anyome if they play like they did the whole game (minus the 3rd)
How is the NCAA going to fix this mess they created when they can't even make referees responsible for their calls during a game. Those referees make good money and doesn't answer for any of their mistakes.
Here's an idea: you sports casters and "experts" choose the top 10 teams, you know, those that actually consistently able to win a championship, and tell EVERY OTHER SCHOOL that THEIR TEAMS SUCK AND DON'T STAND A CHANCE ANYWAY so they can no longer play in the NCAA. If they want to have a "cute little team and play some cute little games against each other" it's their choice but it's on them. Only the schools you deem worthy are eligible to have an NCAA- sanctioned team and play for the championship. Problem solved! 😡😡😡
@LewisAcreFarm no I definitely get what your saying, it's just hard to not know deep down that honestly only a few teams are in it. I'm hoping NIL and transfer portal add more disparity. Should improve the competitiveness overall
lol, have you watched Georgia? Should’ve lost that last game to Texas. Offense is SO BAD. All you gotta do is score like 20 and not turn the ball over to beat them
This is the most boring, predetermined piece of television I've seen in a long time! You guys just hate what? The PAC? The demise of the PAC? The takeover of PAC teams in their new conferences?????? What a load of tripe!
Make every conference play 9 conference games and 3 out of conference games against a power 4 schools. No more neutral site games home and home games. Round robin formula in conference play and do away with conference championship games. Seating based on quality wins with a big emphasis on strength of schedule. In my opinion SMU, Arizona St., & Boise State St., not in playoffs. Put Bama, Old Miss, S. Carolina in.
SEC fans need to stop with the BS about Indiana and SMU because your third best team got blown out. Or does that only apply to non SEC teams? SEC fans are 🤡
Nice omission of the obvious pass interference on the interception in the end zone. ESPN's love of the SEC knows no bounds..

Tennessee game should’ve been worse. Was a ref show for a bit there to save face for the sec
Did you actually watch the game??
It is still Georgia since they beat Texas twice. And I am pulling for Texas

Tennessee could hang with all their SEC opponents but as soon as they played a BigTen team they got smoked.
