Omg yes! Another person who’s bias line is Ruka, Asa, and Haram. I feel they don’t get a lot of shine or recognition that they deserve especially when it comes to fans/viewers. Heck even in the Last Evaluations they barely had compliments for those 3 until literally the last 3 episodes. Most specifically this episode those 3 got so much compliments and praises. It makes me so happy because those 3 were the ones who totally stood out to me since YGE dropped their live performance videos/introducing and character playlists. Then I’ve grown to love them even more throughout the Last Evaluation episodes.
I mean don’t get me wrong I love and support OT7. All the girls are so talented and each one of them are unique and can bring their charm and talents in the group. But man Ruka, Asa, and Haram are MY GIRLS since Day 1.. I want to see them debut the most.
In my opinion, YHS/YGE is just milking everything out and he says things to get everybody intrigued and at the edge of their seats. While it can be very well only 5 members in BABY MONSTER. It doesn’t make sense to really put some much exposure to all 7 girls and the girls themselves have been spotted going in and out of YGE building these past few months. Pharita, Ruka, Ahyeon, and Chiquita are very active on social media like IG reels and TikTok. Ruka and Asa both posted pictures thanking fans on their bday. For fans who are worried about Rora, Asa, and Haram they made a few appearances in the TikTok/IG reel videos. So how can YHS say he wants to have 5 members when OT7 is all over their IG/TikTok accounts? Why is their account profile pictures of OT7? If it was really 4 or 5 members wouldn’t the profile picture just say their name BABY MONSTER instead of showing all 7?
But yeah that’s just my opinion.. it has to be OT7. However, if he actually does keep it 5 members..I have no choice but to understand it, I’ll be upset..but maybe he has his reasons. Maybe he felt those two members is better as a soloist or a better fit with THE BLACK LABEL girl group that is also debuting this year. But like I said, I really feel BABY MONSTER will be 7.

Speaking as a manager who already has an idea fixed in mind, it would be difficult to change the project on the number of members of a group because it is essential to carry on everything else, and having already given birth to 2 iconic girlgroups like 2NE1 and BLACKPINK that have 4 members you have feedback that speaks clearly about the winning formula of a group with few members. And I honestly say that it is easier to manage a group with 4/5 members! Speaking as a kpop enthusiast who has followed this series from the beginning, now I love all 7 and I wish they weren't separated at this point. But I'm sure of one thing, even if BAEMON were 5 members I'm sure we won't lose the other 2 along the way and neither will YG let them go to other music companies. They will remain in YG's orbit and be part of other projects.
I mean you a very valid point. Even if not all 7 debut I hope they do stay around or are able to join another company as they are allllll so talented!
I didn't know if you notice the song at the end but that was them. Unreleased BABYMONSTER song. I think that it is a shorten song cut to fit the emotional part of the video. You can hear Chiquita, Rora, Ahyeon, Pharita, and Haram on the track. I didn't hear Ruka or Asa but I think that if there was a rap part has been taken out or they had Ruka and Asa sing since we know that they can. The song was most likely recorded after the last evaluation so it must mean that at very least all of the vocalists are in the group. Wit hAsa and Ruka's talents, how could they not be in the group as well?
I think that not only will we get the announcement but maybe BABYMONSTER's debut video. The length of time from when the last evaluation took place and when it was released gives them enough time to record at least one song and create a video for debut. I think that it was predicted that they would debut in mid May or early June. So all this timing makes sense.
It was also mentioned somewhere that it was leaked a while ago that the members are 7. I think there was a Tewwt with Pharita's mon congratulating the 7 members for making it and then there was the Treasure concert where it was heard that the members were congratulating the 7 for surviving. There was a picture in December when we found out that YG was announcing a new girl group that there was a photo of all 7 walking into the YG building. So I am hopeful for 7 members to debut butthis is YG and they have cut or have members drop out for different reasons. I don't think it is final till we are able to buy that debut song.

2ne1 is the big sisters to Blackpink from 2nd gen.Kpop, they're considered by many the Queens of kpop (along with Girls Generation) I suggest I Am the Best and I Love You MVs to start with but keep in mind that these are older songs but they are kpop classics that got many into kpop back in the day(including me)

I would be shocked if it's not OT7 at debut.
YHS has a history of stating a group will be X members, but changes his mind because he didn't want to cut members to meet that number due to their talent. YHS also has a history playing the "villian" role for reality/survival shows, this way he gets the majority of the hate comments instead of the artists participating in the shows.
"The Last Evaluation" series was filmed during Q2-Q3 2022. In Q4 2022, all seven members were seen together as a group with managers at the Blackpink and Treasure concerts in Seoul. At the Treasure concert, several members of Treasure were overheard congratulating the OT7 for making it to debut.
All this year, when any of the OT7 are seen in public they are accompanied by a manager and other staff. The most common members that are seen are the five members (Ruka, Asa, Pharita, Ahyeon, Chiquita) that live together in the dorms, the other two members (Haram, Rora) only stay at the dorm when they have group activities.
