I watch this guy and think this is how I used to play back in the 90s. I'm 43 now and trying to get back in shape. I miss playing ball so much that I've lost 18 lbs in the past 6 six weeks. I was 226 I'm trying to get to 190 so I can feel good out there and have some resemblance of my old self. Hopefully, I can pull off some JB the Dream type of moves lol.

I'm a fair bit younger than you. I'm 31 and haven't hit the court in almost 7 years. I'm lucky I've stayed in shape but I miss playing sooo, so much. I'm working on my fitness so when I play, I'm not winded after 30 seconds each play

He was an early second round pick in the draft, and now look where is he right now with the Knicks. Hoping for a stellar career with the Knicks.
Every young basketball player regardless of size or position can learn from watching his footwork, change of pace and fakes. His craftiness is elite and you don't even have to be super athletic to chain alot of his moves together. All you really need is alot of practice with the cone drills to get his footwork down pact.
Very true. He's not the fastest, strongest or that athletic but his body control, footwork, change of pace, ability to make tough baskets and reliable jump shot make him a highly effective and dangerous player.
And that core strength 💪
Facts. They need to study him like crazy! That kind of footwork takes a lot of hard work to develop.

He makes extremely difficult shots look so effortless.I don’t think I’ve ever seen a player with Brunsons offensive skillset.
Check out highlights of Muggsy Bogues. Brunson is like him but taller. Both have amazing footwork and great at penetrating through defenses with penetration and passing.

@@amirrizer5069 before Julius got there, we were a lottery team making a fool out of ourselves each year. Julius signed and changed the culture. Julius didn’t have a good year, he had a great year. He was All NBA 2nd team. The funny thing is that he’s having a better season this year than he had in 2021. People continue to blame that playoffs series on Julius, but if you are a real Knick fan you would understand that team was so flawed offensively that everything was put on Julius shoulders. Julius is our best player but Jalen is our MvP. He’s the pg that Julius always needed and he’s a dangerous scoring option. Just because the ball is in his hands late, doesn’t mean he’s the only reason for their success. Julius is a 2x all nba player. People just like to throw dirt on his name because he isn’t likable
The front office has made this team relevant again. They finally hired a real coach. Drafted better, signed players to reasonable contracts, and made smart trades. It's all starts with quality management.

Brunson has moves like Muggsy Bogues. Amazing footwork and is smart at reading the defensive attack.
Now just get rid of Randle and Thibodeaux (POSSIBLY even RJ, not sure yet) - let the young talent like Obi, Grimes and Quick cut loose - add Brunson to that lethality, subtract Randle, Thibs and add Mark Jackson as coach and we're an NBA Finals nightmare for any team.
