Me from the UK, and I stayed on vacation in Buffalo New York, East Ferry Street in 1988, with my Jamaican Uncle Mr Smith. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget. At that time Hip hop in New York in 1988 was mainly focused on Artists from the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, and Long Island. I can not remember hearing about any rappers then that came from Buffalo back then, only the singer Rick James. The quality of Hip Hop coming out of Buffalo in the last few years has been incredible.
