For me the Ranking of The final Boss Music: 1. Mario and Luigi Paper Jam Bros 2. Mario and Luigi Adventure Bowser 3. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga 4. Mario and Luigi Dream Team Bros 5. Mario and Luigi Partners in Time. One more sentence: The music of Adventure Bowser is great, but that one from Paper Jam Bros is Just Perfect!
I love the progression that you see in these games. It's not like it's a completely different world, as they reference events that took place in the prior games. The shroobs appear in Inside Story, Starlow mentions their previous adventure in Dream Team, Bowser retains his inhale ability in Dream Team from Inside Story and so much more. The personalities of these characters remain pure throughout, and I hope that if there is indeed another Mario & Luigi game (from AlphaDream or other studio) that they keep the charm this series has always had.

Mr. Pepé wtf? do you not know the game at all? nearly every area has at least one dark aspect to it. if you pay any attention at all, you'd see how dark it is.
I recently played through it again (found my old 3ds, ahhh good times.) it was indeed a fascinating vibe. definitely underrated. sucks that Alphadream folded but the games they made live on, at least.
In my opinion, Elder Princess Shroob is possibly the best and most powerful villain in the M&L series. The battle, the music, the weather changing in her second form all really added the sense of urgency to the battle as the whole sky erupted like the maelstrom. It was like the whole Mushroom Kingdom in the past, present and future all hung in the balance and standing before the Bros. was the pure embodiment of all evil unleashing all of her power on them and all their lives depended on winning this fight. It was like everything was now in their hands and facing the true monster really made the battle even more epic. Elder Princess Shroob is truly a monster and proves to be even more evil than Bowser by killing her own people and having no regard for them.

The book the Bowsers threatened to burn contains the entirety of the Paper Mario world, if I recall correctly. That would render the paper folk outside the book homeless at best, and be considered mass genocide at worst. Plus, there's the fact that the Bowsers destroyed Peach's castle with the intent to kill everyone inside, including the princess herself.
Its a shame, first 3 games, amazing, then soon as they jumped onto the 3DS, the games just crashed and burned. Dream Team was pretty good, Paper Jam was ahh, A game, then the 2 remakes just finished it off on kind of a low note. RIP alpha dream. You had a good run

I remember when my sister and I first did the Shrowser fight, we didn't notice he had a health bar, so we were like, oh shit. Eventually we did defeat him.

Man partners in time and bowser's inside story were my CHILDHOOD I remember being like 5 years old, and being so confused as to how to beat the final boss, because I had no internet, and none of my friends had these games, it wasn't until I thought screw it I'll attack the legs, and then the crown appeared and I was soooooo happy. Dark Bowser I killed on my first attempt though, because my button mashing skills were UNMATCHED. Except for piranha plant in mario party DS, I only barely scraped by that, it was harder than all of the other bosses put together, and it's the FIRST BOSS*EDIT when I said final boss up there I meant the elder princess shroob if that wasn't obvious*

What about Mario and Luigi: metal condition The plot would be that a cyborg enchantress plans to transform not just the mushroom kingdom of the present, but the past and paper worlds into a mechanical realm of which she would be the master but, for the fans of fawful, his ghost ends up being the true baddie. It plays a bit differently, in which it still plays a bit differently, it still is mario and Luigi gameplay, but you get more partners I.E peach,bowser, paper Mario, the baby bros., E. Gadd, the koopalings, and bowser jr. in addition to mario and Luigi
The nostalgia of playing these games really hit me hard after seeing this, I still can't get over how amazing all these games are sure BiS and SS might have some of the most pathetic boss fights and pushover final bosses but at least they have some amazing soundtrack and atmosphere to back it up while the other three had everything a difficulty spike, great music and a really nice atmosphere, its hard to rank them all but I would say Dream Team beats the other four games
This opinion may be uncommon, but I honestly think the final battle theme for Paper Jam honestly tops In the Final. I just think it’s got this “This is it. This is the finale.” and fire feeling to it. It sounds like something you would hear from a Kingdom Hearts game. Especially since Yoko Shimomura is the composer for both series.
Inside Story is Precious to me, Memories of my childhood yet the game came out on my birthday as the remake I still wonder how those areas in Bowser's Body are doing, and if theyll ever be seen again I can't unsee the areas in bowser anymore
All of these fights have involved a permutation of Bowser. Bowletta eats you and that's how you get to Cackletta's Soul. The Elder Shroob Princess possesses Bowser in the postgame, leading to an all-dodging boss battle. The final boss's first phase in BIS is Bowser VS. Dark Bowser. Dreamy Bowser is literally just Bowser's equivalent of a Chaos Emerald-induced Super Mode, complete with the absorption of a legendary artifact's power to achieve theoretically limitless potential to distort reality. Shiny RoboBowser is a fusion of Bowser and Bowser.

Lmao i played partners in time when i was like 6 or 7, got to the final boss, couldnt beat it. Now 7 years later i picked it up, realised i have like the worst gear, and i was stuck. Dunno how i got to the final boss at 6y old with trash gear.
That happened to me in superstar saga except that I only had the standard gear which i didn't know you can equip badges or other wear. No wonder I had trouble fighting enemies and the final boss.
The bowsers inside story final boss was my childhood. I swear to god I replayed the final boss of it so many times I managed to do a no damage run and I was around 7 or something

The book the Bowsers threatened to burn contains the entirety of the Paper Mario world, if I recall correctly. That would render the paper folk outside the book homeless at best, and be considered mass genocide at worst. Plus, there's the fact that the Bowsers destroyed Peach's castle with the intent to kill everyone inside, including the princess herself.

Man partners in time and bowser's inside story were my CHILDHOOD I remember being like 5 years old, and being so confused as to how to beat the final boss, because I had no internet, and none of my friends had these games, it wasn't until I thought screw it I'll attack the legs, and then the crown appeared and I was soooooo happy. Dark Bowser I killed on my first attempt though, because my button mashing skills were UNMATCHED. Except for piranha plant in mario party DS, I only barely scraped by that, it was harder than all of the other bosses put together, and it's the FIRST BOSS*EDIT when I said final boss up there I meant the elder princess shroob if that wasn't obvious*

The nostalgia of playing these games really hit me hard after seeing this, I still can't get over how amazing all these games are sure BiS and SS might have some of the most pathetic boss fights and pushover final bosses but at least they have some amazing soundtrack and atmosphere to back it up while the other three had everything a difficulty spike, great music and a really nice atmosphere, its hard to rank them all but I would say Dream Team beats the other four games

This opinion may be uncommon, but I honestly think the final battle theme for Paper Jam honestly tops In the Final. I just think it’s got this “This is it. This is the finale.” and fire feeling to it. It sounds like something you would hear from a Kingdom Hearts game. Especially since Yoko Shimomura is the composer for both series.

That happened to me in superstar saga except that I only had the standard gear which i didn't know you can equip badges or other wear. No wonder I had trouble fighting enemies and the final boss.
