Lauren, I’m in north county San Diego and I think you would love the Encinitas area! So Cardiff has a dog friendly beach, and then you could head down to las olas afterwards for some Mexican food. There’s also a super yummy açaí cafe called Sambazon. For dinner you and plus one Jeremy could go to The Waverly! You absolutely need to check out Torrey pines state beach and do the hiking trail there (not dog friendly) but it’s stunning!
Lauren!! I've vacationed in San Diego a couple times now & I gotta recommend you stay at the Paradise Point Resort at least once! It's so gorgeous. Also definitely recommend hitting up local latino owned restaurants! I'm blanking on the names but they're usually a good amount just lined up by the beaches.
Seeing you buy all that stuff at target was stressing me after seeing how packed the car was already 😂

OMG !! im from SD and there is so much to explore here! I visit mission bay all the time so it's so cool that you stayed there! I recommend going to little Italy for cute brunch and overall food, drinks, and dessert places. Convoy is like a dump of all the Asian stores, restaurants, and amazing boba selection. La Jolla beach is pretty busy area but worth the adventure with the shops and food with the beach views! I go to these areas pretty often so I hope I run into you one day :))

I go to school in San Diego and its honestly such a great city!!! I think you would LOVE North Park! Super cute shops and fun restaurants/ bars! Also, I recommend staying in La Jolla in San Diego it's so beautiful and totally seems like your vibe! The best sunsets in the whole city are at sunset cliffs or at the Torrey Pines glider port!

I just got back from my honeymoon in San Diego and it's gorgeous there!! Little Italy was my favorite place to eat and walk around. I totally agree that the sunsets there were beautiful. I miss SD so much now!
