OPEN SEGMENTED WITHOUT STOMPER, wood turning

I made a vase with an open segmented method but I didn't use a stomper, that's what I did because I learned how to make open segmented and if it's good for the future I will use a stomper

I just looked up the stomper and I don't think you need it. You are careful enough to do this on your bench with weight or a press or use the lathe.

Thank you Jim, not all of them, it's teak, rosewood, camphor, and the white wood is manglid, all of them are original wood from Indonesia, yes I have a list of pieces

nice. you could make a jig for the segment setup for gluing pretty easily as the segment count per level was the same (at least seemingly). would certainly speed up the process!
