Fascinating to watch Rooney here. When he gave interviews during his playing career, he was nervous, monosyllabic and with the personality of a wooden spoon. In a relaxed environment like the Overlap, he's gregarious, funny, self aware, and relaxed. Totally night and day!
I can't place my finger on why, but it's such a pleasure to observe the banter, the love, and the gold nugget insights you offer us. I think it's because we are listening to the authenticity of what were some of the most elite of our athletes ever to grace the sporting field. On top of that, they're just nice people.

The one thing i love about overlap is the genuine laughter, were as the rest is football is very fake, especially the fake laughing at each others jokes 🤦♂️
