- Today we share with you a charming tour of the only island city in the United Kingdom. Portsmouth or Pompey as it is also known is home to one of the most emblematic promenades in this country.
With centuries of maritime history and being home to famous ships such as HMS Victory, HMS Warrior, it is fascinating to visit the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
In a much more modern setting, another attraction worth visiting is the Spinnaker Tower, where the food and drink options are much more enjoyed with the incredible views from the three observation levels reaching all the way to the Isle of Wight.
We end our day with a beautiful walk in front of the sea, one of the activities that you must do if you visit this wonderful city, and that we cannot recommend enough.
