I have a question, so I also want to get into animation and make fight scenes using manga as references, but one thing that has making it difficult is how sometimes the manga is limited into few manga panels, since I’m also new to trying to draw anime and manga characters, I don’t if I have to have anatomy practice or something like to be able to be able to animate more of those extra scenes that anime production companies usually do, so I wanted to ask how do yo do it, is it just pure practice or something else
@@xtremesqaud347 It’s both. Drawing and practicing outside of animation will contribute a lot. I noticed that as I got better with anatomy, my animations improved. But anatomy within animation is definitely difficult since you’re making it move. What you can do is use anime fight scenes as reference. They take manga and add more scenes while helping you with creativity, and movement. For anatomy, searching up “how to draw..” a body part, and taking that while drawing it over and over will help. If you draw a leg everyday while you’re bored while looking at references, you’re bound to improve. Also, tracing while practicing helps you get used to the complex shapes. Anatomy and fight scenes are not easy for me, and when combined those two a hassle😅. But if you watch some scenes and try to replicate, and draw a lot of specific anatomy while watching videos you’ll grow. I’m not the best at giving advice so I hope this helps you, good luck!👍
@@wettoesweat, another question what would you say would be the best way to also get better at drawing anime characters, and be the best app for animation on a iPad, since I was new to this I just got a iPad for Christmas, but realized I should have done more research so can you recommend me some good apps and methods on drawing better anime characters as well as how to practice animating
@ Clip Studio Paint EX seems to be the best animation program by far. It’s pricey, but you should research into it. It’s used by lots of professionals and most animators on the internet. To get better at drawing anime characters, I would say to study (again) and see if you can develop your own anime like style. What I did was watch old “How to draw anime eyes” videos and such😭 To practice animation, learn the 12 principles of animation (Ik it sounds like a lot but you’ll be okay) and animate random things using them. Like if you want to try out easing animate a bouncing ball.
