This is perfect. I've been wanting a video like this! Been loving your flip through/reviews. My twins are 5 and a half and I have a 3 and a half year old that just loves to be there with us. I'll probably wait another year to start this just so my little guy is a little older. I know Tan just had a 40% off the series so I'm hoping they'll do it again next year. Oh and my favorite era is Medieval.
I am so happy to hear the flip throughs are helpful! We love SOC so much, even if you started now, I know families who circle back on them again. That is what we will do when my youngest gets older. But yes I highly suggest you follow Tan’s email list, they do sales a couple times a year. And especially over Black Friday. That is when we typically purchase our new volumes

The audio is available for free on the Hoopla app that should be available to you through your library. I would look into that before you buy it.

It depends on your library. My library district doesn’t do any audiobooks at all through Hoopla
