One of the best editors of all time Walter Murch edits at standing desks. He did this long before standing desks were a thing. I tried writing at a standing desk a number of times and it never worked for me. For the last two years, I do what you do while sitting to edit. I move when my drink needs a refill. Then if it is a day with a lot of work I'll break it up with a bit of movement with chores or something else. After watching this video I might try some dancing.

Mak, you need to write a clerks-style low-budget script for you to direct starring Grace and Mattea. You have the camera sound and edit program you need. Thinking about it you are better set up for it than Kevin Smith was and you are light years ahead of what Robert Rodriguez was for his first film which he edited using non-linear video editing.
