That is a quality British machine tool. It will serve you well. I wonder what it's story is. I have subscribed, I like what you are doing. Personally I am knee deep in the restoration of a Harrison milling machine that is of a similar age to your drill, but made in a different part of the UK.
Are you going to have to put a hatch in the roof to get the acme screw in. That could be as easy as installing what would be a 4" abs roof vent with a threaded adapter and a galvanized pipe cap on it. ,
Literally this video does not do it justice for how large that radial arm drill is!!! Glad to see it inside.

Worked as a tool and cutter grinder in a machine and fabrication shop for 31 years
Holly Molly thats a big drill. The floor might have issues overtime.
It has a big flat base on it so the weight is spread out nicely

Made in England, on the west coast. Probably pretty rare out there. I have never heard of them but that is not saying much.

No I won’t, because the way the shaft protector is slid down thankfully I’ll only need about 3 feet above the machine
What is the biggest diameter drill you can use please?
I myself only have drills up to 3 inch but it would probably push a little bigger
