    Literally this video does not do it justice for how large that radial arm drill is!!! Glad to see it inside.

      @@smalltownmachineshop6860 Looks like a heck of a machine. I passed on a 3x9 a while back. It was in really good shape. Seller wanted $1000 bucks for it which was not a bad price, except it was in Oklahoma.

    That is a quality British machine tool. It will serve you well. I wonder what it's story is. I have subscribed, I like what you are doing. Personally I am knee deep in the restoration of a Harrison milling machine that is of a similar age to your drill, but made in a different part of the UK.

      @@smalltownmachineshop6860 That is interesting, I shall have a look. I have just made a 5tpi acme nut in bronze for mine.

    Made in England, on the west coast. Probably pretty rare out there. I have never heard of them but that is not saying much.

    Are you going to have to put a hatch in the roof to get the acme screw in. That could be as easy as installing what would be a 4" abs roof vent with a threaded adapter and a galvanized pipe cap on it. ,

      @smalltownmachineshop6860  Год назад

      No I won’t, because the way the shaft protector is slid down thankfully I’ll only need about 3 feet above the machine

    That’s a tank not a drill. Just aim and blast a hole in anything
