I have to admit, I used to poke fun at NASCAR for only making left turns. After watching all these crash videos, I've come to realize they're probably the craziest of the lot after NHRA Top Fuel. While other races have multiple turns that make cars speed up and slow down constantly, there are no brakes in NASCAR. They're literally going faster and faster with every lap until they're slinging around at 200+ mph while actually paint-swapping-bumper-to-bumper. Insane!
It's such a low tech motorsport I don't see why it even exists, it doesn't even have unique tracks, taking 'just cars going round in circles' to the next level
11:37 Nissany rammed Hauger off track on purpose. Only got a 5 place grid penalty, ridiculous, should have been a race ban at minimum. Look how off line he was!
And if it wasn't for the halo he probably would've put himself in a life threatening situation or worse, which wouldn't be the first time. This guy knows no danger.

They have brakes but its used less in superspeedways and used more in the road courses

Yeah, that’s pretty accurate. We get cars and debris flying into the fence sometimes injuring fans.
